I figured it'd be a good idea to replace the factory light with new LEDs. As a result, there is less strain on the wiring and electrical system. Because the trailer was 12 years old and the existing grommets were hard and brittle, I ordered them with the grommets as well. Just like the factory version, I inserted the grommets. Lights were installed after the furniture was put in place. What a difference just a couple of lights can make! Simply ensure that the grommet is completely seated before installing the light, or it will fall out. LEDs are much brighter and even look better than the LEDs that come standard on new trailers. 2 are brand new from the factory. 5" in diameter, but with only one lighting diode in the center. They work, but we think our lights could use a few more diodes. With maximum lighting, it is easier to see in the dark. The color combinations of amber and red are stunning. Just remember to include those nagging grommets with your lights!.
