For a Chevrolet, there is no extra requirement. No extra steps are required for a dodge as well. Plug them in and they're good to go. Lenses are universal and come in a wide range of colors. Rubber pads already exist on the ground, so they just go over the existing ones. The situation is somewhat different if you don't have cab lights to begin with.

Since amber clearance lenses with clear (white) LEDs don't match standard amber clearance/marker lights, they do not match the vehicle's standard amber clearance/marker lights. There is an obvious difference in color and they appear yellow. The reviews I read said it would not match, but I gave it a try and figured it wouldn't be too noticeable - In that case, yes. A totally different shade of blue. It would be cool to try amber LED bulbs and see how they look with the amber lenses, but I'll see what I can find. Our next step will be to see what CCIYU can do for me. The amber lense were missing on a couple of these lights that my dad had on his Chevy 3500, but the rubber mount and light socket was there.
