LED lights last a long time, and if they do burn out, they can simply be replaced.
No, you'll have to wire them in.
12 volts is written on the label. So, most likely, no. However, given how inexpensive these are, you could always try something else.
They can be seen well in daylight because they are LEDs, but this is not for navigational purposes (i.e. e, passing through a tunnel, and so on).

They're low enough in profile that limbs don't snag them, and they're 5 times brighter than the factory clarence lights on the horse trailer for their size. It only comes with two wires, one black and one yellow (which should suffice). The first light was tested and found to be hot, while the black was ground, indicating that everything was in working order. As I went along, I took out the old clarence lights and replaced them with these. I finished everything, turned on the lights, and three out of ten of them were not working. The wiring was found to be in good working order, and the lights were tested and the issue was discovered. On the light itself, the yellow hot, black ground was backwards, so I simply replaced the ends, connected black to hot, and yellow to ground, and they all work fine now. I'm sure they're not all like this, and I understand that mistakes happen in the production process, but double-check the wiring on ALL of the lights before having to troubleshoot them later. Aside from that, I'm happy and would have given 5 stars if I could.
These have been installed in my Ford Transit - One above each wheel on each side, two per side. I frequently drive on the Capital Beltway, and the Transit has no side turn signals, so if I'm in the left lane and someone is in the right lane and we're both merging to the center lane, they won't see my turn signal. I adore these because they are bright enough. (Edit: I just finished watching my video for the second time. I must have taken it in the middle of the night, as the video does not do it justice. day. They're a lot brighter in person than they appear in the video. ).
Making a hole and connecting two wires is all that is required for installation. A couple of the lights (led portion) did not come out of the amber plastic housing, which was a problem. These could be strengthened by adding some silicone where the wires enter the back, but as long as you don't pull on them too hard, they should be fine. Used as marker lights on the front fender of a Jeep Wrangler jku.
These lights were simple to install and weren't too bright, but neither were they too dim. I installed these lights using 18 gauge stranded wire, which appears to be a good balance. Since the lights are on the running boards, I added some silicone to the backs of them for a little extra water resistance, but the lights appeared to be fine without it. More waterproofing is better in my area because we use salt on the roads in the winter.
I'm going to put these on my roof rack as great marker lights. Other reviewers claimed that the inside of the casing needed to be siliconed, but mine was already silicone-sealed. There are no additional steps required to keep the wiring watertight. br>I checked all of the wiring and grommets for tears or damage, and they were all in good condition. Everything was fine, and when I tested them out, each light functioned as expected. br>These are fantastic value for money and will make your rig stand out. I will undoubtedly place additional orders.
I wanted something a little more substantial than the Eagle Eye style that so many people were using. These appealed to me because of their simplicity of installation and the thicker wire, which made them easier to work with. So far, I've installed seven of the ten, and they're all fantastic. The warm yellow glow is lovely, and it'll be perfect for lighting a campsite or tent.
My old lights were 10 times as bright, so this isn't as bright as I had hoped. These remind me of the small battery-operated tea lights that my wife has. For the time being, I'm going to stick with the Tecniq brand of lights.
They're quite colorful. I wish the rubber portion had a larger flange than it currently has. The mounting flange just barely covers the 3/4" hole I drilled. To be safe, I epoxied these to the back side of the grill to prevent them from falling out while traveling. I'm just hoping I won't have to replace any of them due to failure! The only way to find out is to wait.
