Hello, 4Runner will not be able to use it. Thank you
It could fit a 95, but I'm not sure because I bought it for a 2003.
I doubt it will fit a 1996 Toyota truck due to the fact that it is a different model.
Sorry, but it was only used on my 2001 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Extended Cab.

This was the perfect fit for my TRD 4x4 Toyota Tacoma from 2002. At first glance, it appears to be nearly identical to the OEM lamp. The only reason I replaced it was because the OEM's plastic tab had broken, causing the lamp to fall out while driving. I expect the same problem with the plastic tab to occur with this one in the future (if and when I have to remove it). br>The only issue I had with the fit was that the plastic tab on the lamp did not align as well as the OEM lamp. It worked fine, but the screw did not reach far enough into the hole. I was able to replace the original screw with a longer one that worked perfectly.
The one for the driver's side, on the other hand, was a little shabby. The "chrome" was rough around the edges, and the top seal didn't appear to be very good. Because I couldn't find DEPO CAPAs anywhere, I had to send them both back and purchase TYC CAPAs. br>CAPA stands for "Corrective and Preventative Action," and it's all about fixing problems based on feedback from products in use (post-manufacture) and preventing problems from happening in the first place (based on projections). CAPA parts are of higher quality and will last longer. Higher standards, better quality control, and better manufacturing practices ensure that the product will last for a long time. People who know a lot more about this than I do tell me it's worth the extra money.
They appear to be nearly identical to the OEM side markers, but the build quality and quality control indicate that they are aftermarket. The rattling was caused by one tab breaking free from the box. Although the top tab is flexible, I am concerned that it will break due to vibration or low temperature extremes (which will make it brittle). They are a less expensive option than going to a dealership, and they offer Prime shipping - As a result, getting back will be simple. br>br>It's already done for you. A new 168 bulb is installed. Because the factory bulb socket will not fit, you must use the bulb socket that came with the lens assembly. Simply unplug the old harness and replace it with the new one in your truck. br>br>I noticed a small amount of sealant/epoxy used to seal the lens to the reflector, which may or may not be present on the next one. This isn't present on the opposite side of the order, but I can see how it could be easily formed during production. br>br>On the driver's side, I used a very small amount of silicone grease to help the tab click in without breaking, and vibrations will no longer be able to cause a squeaking noise if it ever becomes loose.
Once you've figured out how to do it, it's a breeze to install. YouTube is a great place to find videos on how to do things like this. They appear to be in good condition, and they came with new bulbs, which was a nice touch. They appear to have a similar beam pattern and appear to be much brighter than the fogged-up ones on my truck. Mine had cracked and was leaking water, so it was nice to see that these were sealed and did not get wet. I would definitely recommend these as a replacement for those polish kits, because they only last a month or two before you have to start all over. I was able to save time and effort by not having to rework them over and over.
My 2004 Toyota Tacoma was a perfect fit. A shop told me that these lights are a common part to replace on Tacomas and that I should look for them in a junk yard or at a dealership. Well, the junkyard didn't have any Tacomas, and I wasn't about to pay a dealership for aftermarket service, so it was Amazon to the rescue! AWESOME VALUE! Both the right and left sides had to be purchased separately.
Although the lamp was well-made, there was only one hole in the back for one bulb to be inserted. Two holes in the original allow for the installation of two different light bulbs. I suppose you could cut a new hole and jury-rig the second bulb holder to make it work. Otherwise, it is unusable in its current state. At $12. It's not worth returning for a refund because it cost $50 to ship.
Every two years or so, I have to replace the left side turn lamp housing, the "DEPO 312-" 1547R- I anticipate doing the same with the AS1 Replacement Passenger Side Parking Light Assembly. " I had the same problem with the left hand door handle, so I finally gave in and paid for the dealer part, and I'm sure I'll do the same with this one.
When I asked for the passenger side, I was given the driver's side instead. It was incorrectly packaged, and due to my busy schedule, I never got around to returning it. The quality, however, is excellent, and the price is unbeatable.
