Is the inside dimension of the ring for holding the lens smaller on the inside than the outside?

The lamp comes with a bulb, but do you have to purchase a bulb ?

The bulb is included. The 1156 filament is a single filament. Other vendors sold me some led bulbs to add some modern flair to my home.

What is better, a one-wire installation or a two-wire ?

It would be good to ground it if you install it on one of the grounded parts. The location I was working in was not grounded so I had to run a ground wire. It may be helpful to know this

Is there a second wire on this?

There is one black insulated 16 gauge wire pigtail for connection to the +12 V supply for the backup light. Located on the metal backplate are four screw holes for mounting the light It is determined by the screws to the metal body or frame that connect the electrical return or ground. There will be a ground wire to run from the backplate to the mounting if the mounting does not create a proper ground return. The screws for mounting must be provided by the customer.

My camper trailer interior ceiling light utilized this product for better than I had imagined. I am very satisfied with the quality of construction for the price. In just a few minutes, I added a ground lead to the circuit Suitable terminals are available since these lamps are designed to be mounted on vehicles. Adding some more is on my list.

They provide sufficient light for backing up the trailer when I place two of these lights on the back. The system would have been nice if I had installed it.
