If you need 6 volts, an 1156 bulb is not for you. It takes 12 volts to power the 1156 bulb. A 5050 bulb is the one to look for.
I'm not sure if they'll fit in your vehicle. The LEDs are significantly brighter than the old bulb, and it appears to be a standard bulb.
Hello, I'm not sure if it's street legal because the brightness is something that only the police can determine. However, as you may be aware, the p21w led bulb is only 5. 5 watts per bulb, so they'll be brighter than halogen bulbs without being blinding. I hope that the information provided is useful. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions. Thanks :
Hello, there is a 12-month warranty on the bulbs. Please let us know if you have any issues with the item.

These bulbs were installed in my John Deere D100 tractor to replace the burned out incandescents. These worked perfectly because it uses a standard 1156 bulb. The light output is incredible, and I'm hoping for the same longevity.
Because I live in Ohio, I didn't use the tractor for 5 months during the winter. Started mowing in May, everything seemed to be working fine until one of the lights stopped working after a few mows and carting a dump cart around. My tractor has been used for a total of 830 hours in ten years, despite being advertised for thousands of hours. Even after changing the bulbs, the problem persists. When I went to Auxito, they only offered a one-year warranty if you purchased the product directly from their website; there was no return policy for Amazon purchases. Would never buy something advertised and then find out you can't get a valid warranty because you bought it from a site that sells it. BUY SOMETHING ELSE THAT WILL LAST LONGER AND FOR WHICH YOU WILL BE ABLE TO USE THE WARRANTY. br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. br>I was able to obtain a second set of bulbs from them after contacting a different warranty site. Unfortunately, they didn't last long in my tractor, either. On the second set, I gave up on the lights and didn't bother to contact them. Auxito contacted me in January to inquire about the bulbs' performance and to inform me that the second set had also died. They promptly refunded my money after a few emails. Try out the lights or anything else they have to offer; they will work with you to make sure everything is in order. Unfortunately, I will not be purchasing these lights; however, I would purchase something from this company (Auxito) because of their excellent customer service, which is why I have given them four stars for customer service (originally one star).
br>br>Note that the one on the right in my photo of the back of the car is my existing halogen blue tinted, higher output light, which is much dimmer than these LEDs. The photo of the garage door was taken after both were replaced (with one replaced, it was impossible to see it, so it was a pointless photograph). I also included a photo of the lights turned on at night to demonstrate how well they illuminate. br>br>There were no bulb out warning lights, great brightness, and, at the time of writing, a coupon that made them significantly less expensive than the competition, and the build quality appeared to be excellent. I needed something to see when backing up at night, and this was exactly what I needed. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: They're still working perfectly after two years (not that they're used much as reverse lights), and I recently purchased and installed a new set for my e90 2006 325i reverse lights. This car did issue bulb out warnings, which I was able to avoid by coding them out myself. Once again, a fantastic addition I made to aid in the installation of a recently installed backup camera. This car is featured in the last two photos.
These bulbs looked great as daytime running lights on my 2016 Jetta, and they didn't cause any errors on the dash, indicating that they are canbus bulbs. Unfortunately, one just went out on my way to work this morning, so I'll have to look for replacements. Given that the product is only a few months old, it would be nice if the company stood behind it and offered a replacement. I'll keep you updated on the review. br>br>Edit 1/21br>So, after my initial review, I drove around for a few weeks with only one bulb working, then the dead bulb came back to life, and they've been going strong for months. If they were more dependable, I would give them a higher rating.
So I was doing a tail light mod for my 2002 VW Golf that added an extra brake light on each side (the "5 Brake Light Mod"). In a nutshell, you connect a wire from your original brake light to the "fog" bulb holder, which is usually empty. People behind you will be able to see you more easily, especially in bright sunlight. That location necessitated the use of a light. Originally, I used a halogen because that's what I had on hand, but LEDs, which draw MUCH less current, would be ideal because it would do two things: br>br>1) Do not overload the circuit (the brake wires are small)br>2) Do not interfere with the vehicle's CANBUS (for example, if you try to put an LED in the main brake light spot without resistors, the car will give you a "lamp out" warning because it can't detect the load). This is more common in older cars that have a turn signal instead of a brake light, or hyperflash. In any case, the concern with LEDs is that they do not disperse light as well as halogens. br>br>Anyway, the concern with LEDs is that they do not disperse light as well as halogens. They are usually bright, but they never seem to "fill" the housing with light. br>br>After a quick installation, I wedged something between my brake pedal and the back of my car to check it out. These LED bulbs are extremely bright, and they have no trouble lighting up the entire housing. I'm very pleased with the results of the fifth brake light modification and these bulbs. br>br>I can't speak to their durability just yet, but there should be a warranty in place if they fail prematurely. However, it beats having to replace halogen bulbs every few months!.
For my 2013 VW Passat 2, I purchased these. 5l SEL. I first tried using Sylvania LED bulbs, but the CANBUS gave me a variety of error messages. This irritated me to no end, so I went to Amazon and looked for canbus error clearing adapters, where I came across these LED bulbs. I made the decision to order them and put them on. I'm overjoyed that all error messages vanished once the program was installed. These were less expensive than the Sylvania ones, which I couldn't return to the store because they were out of stock! Regardless, this is a happy and satisfied customer.
As measured by a smartphone lux sensor at 6 feet, these bulbs are about 2x brighter than stock bulbs. The lights are extremely bright, with excellent throw. It's now possible to see what's behind me in the dead of night. Furthermore, the higher color temperature aids in the light's visibility and reflects well off reflective surfaces (signs, high-contrast surfaces). hazmat gear, reflectors for cars and bikes, and so on).
It's a million times brighter than the original bulbs. And instead of the old yellow, a nice bright white.
