The part order has been received. The part I was replacing, however, had nuts and washers to attach it to the headlight, so there was no way to secure it to the bike.

I like the quality and the fit, but I can't believe a piece of pot metal with a standard chrome finish can cost so much. However, I required it, and it appears to be as good as the original HD version, so it is what it is.

Just like OEM, it's great! If you've ever gotten a quote on one of these at a dealership, you'll understand why "HD" stands for "Hundred Dollars

It's a sad joke, to tell you the truth

The casting was deformed (the tip was slanted), the chrome had pits and missing spots, the studs were not threaded, so you'll need a tap and die set, and a doe at the bend was off, so the part didn't even fit.
