Remove the four screws from the back of the housing and inspect the circuit board for the three soldered pins. It will say grnd tail and brake on the screen. Then connect yours in the same way. Because red was on the ground on my 04 night train, I had to switch red and black.
There isn't any need for a load equalizer.
It does not necessitate the use of a bulb. Inside the housing, there is a 12-LED LED panel. Behind the light, the entire light assembly connects to the factory plug.
This is the most straightforward "Plug and Play" product I've ever purchased. It also looks great on my 2016 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob. There were no issues with my purchase. Simply return it, and Amazon will, hopefully, intervene if there are any issues.

Terrible. This light is not working for me. Although the wires are the same color as OEM, the light functions vary by color. The paper instructions recommend following the OEM sequence first; I contacted the seller twice, and an alternate sequence was suggested in an email, but it was not usable. Returning it will cost at least $8. The seller was aware of issues with FLHT installations. I switched to LED for my headlights and passing lamps, but I'm not sure why my tail light isn't working. My OEM tail light was retained.
This smoked-out tail light is absolutely stunning. On my 2014 Electra Glide Ultra Classic, it was a perfect fit. It's very understated, and the LEDs are stunning. I'd suggest it.
The taillight arrived on time. It came with instructions and a motorcycle connector, as well as a taillight connector with terminal wires. The screws from the old taillight were reused in the new taillight's installation. By pressing up on the connector's bottom, I was able to remove the stock taillight connector from my 2008 Sportster XL1200C. I inserted the blue wire on the left, skipped a slot, then the red wire, and finally the black wire, using the stock connector as a guide. I pressed the top of the connector closed to lock in the wires. I screwed the taillight into place after I had inserted all of the connectors. br>The light tail and stop functions worked exactly like they did in the stock version. I only gave them four stars because they are about the same brightness as stock. Otherwise, this light is very well made; it comes with everything I need for my 2008 Sportster, it doesn't stick out like stock, it looks great, the smoke matches my black bike well, and it uses less power than stock. br>It's a great light, and I'm pleased with my purchase. br>I'm sure it meets DOT brightness requirements, which is good, but on a motorcycle, brighter is better. My most important needs were appearance and low current draw so I strongly recommend this taillight 100%.
play, but the smoked lens makes the light dim. This was a five-star rating. On my 2008 Electra, I made a minor swap. Glide Classic is a classic glide. It appears to be of high quality and looks great. But it appeals to me. People have said that my taillight/brake light is barely visible through the dark smoke lens, and I agree. It works and looks great, but when my wife was driving behind me and said she couldn't see my taillight and could only see it when I applied the brakes, I decided to replace it with a different LED taillight. With so many inattentive drivers on the road, the last thing I need is a difficult-to-see brake light.
It's just a matter of putting the connections in the right places and plugging it in. There are no factory wires to be cut. It appears to be quite cool, but it isn't quite as bright as one might expect. It produces fewer units than if it were set up in the factory. It's a bit concerning in terms of safety. Because it was just installed and may be removed, there is no word on how long it will last.
Light is nice and bright license plate light is nice and bright just as good as or better than the one I had previously that cost $150.
It looks great and is easy to set up. Pros:

- nonebr>br>Excellent value and a perfect fit for my Fatboy from 2002. Do the lights from Custom Dynamics have a better appearance? This light was plug-and-play, configurable based on OEM wiring, and had a smaller profile than the OEM light (which I wanted). The license plate portion is much brighter than stock, and it shines brightly while driving and when braking. Time will tell how long they last, and they obviously don't come with the same lifetime warranty as the more expensive brands, but as I mentioned earlier, I could get these 4xs for less than the price of a Custom Dynamics light.
On my bike, I now have all of the NTHREEAUTO LED products, and I'm in love with them. Keep in mind that if you go all-LED, you'll need resistors or a Badlands Load Equalizer III, which, in my opinion, is a lot easier to install than resistors. You will become hyper-sensitive if you do not use one of the two items. If you flash, your key light may illuminate, indicating that you are using too much power. What a bargain compared to other items, and the quality and appearance are excellent! I've also added additional pictures to the reviews for the other items. Thank you once more, NTHREEAUTO!.
