Questions & Answers

Is it compatible with the Honda Rebel 500 2021?

It's most likely a universal part, and installing it will require some skill. br>br>Read the other reviews for the part; it isn't perfect; the round part of the bracket on mine broke after a few weeks, and I had to make another bracket. br>br>The light is so-called because it is so-called because it is so-called because it is so-called because it is so-called It's not particularly bright, but it gets the job done. The led board needs to be weatherproofed and insulated (using 3M double double sided tape inside the housing). Even so, when compared to the real brands, which can cost hundreds of dollars for this type of light, this isn't a bad deal.

I got it as a gift, but the light broke off on the first ride, and I'm not sure what to do about it. ?

Lock nuts are notorious for vibrating, especially if you own a Harley.

What's the length of the light's wires?

They aren't very long and are inexpensive; however, mine arrived broken, and I must return it.

The brake, parking, and license lights are all connected to the same wire. ?

The color red is fiery, while the color black represents the earth.

The quality of this set-up actually pleasantly surprised me. Installation was extremely simple if you have a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles. The setup arrived in a vertical format, and due to California laws, I was forced to rearrange it to a horizontal format, which I did quickly. The LED array is bright and pleasant to look at. It's not the most brilliant, but it'll suffice. And all of the functions are in perfect working order. Steel is used to construct the license plate base. The only criticism I have is that the light and bracket mounting bolts obstruct the actual license plate mounting. As a result, depending on how tightly you secure the license plate, it may deform slightly. It's important to note that I used the word "slightly deformed" in my description. br>br>UPDATE: UPDATED: UPDATED: UPDATED: UPDATED: UPDATED: UPDATED: I went for a 40-mile test ride on the bike. At night. I'm on a freeway in Southern California. If you're going to do this, make sure you have enough taillights. I had a car that I could use as a chase vehicle. But there were a few times when I got away. Changing lanes is the most common scenario. Other cars nearly rear-ended me twice. Light alone, according to the chase car driver, is insufficient for visibility. I'll have to make a sissy bar now if I want to mount some more tail lights higher than 17 inches off the ground. Please take note, buyers. Take precautions when driving. UPDATED: br>br>NEXT UPDATED: br>br>NEXT UPDATED: The installation has now been completed for two months. The red brake and running lights are still operational and performing as expected. For safety reasons, I've now secured the light to the back of my sissy bar. A second light was added as well. It's now even safer and more stylish. The white LEDs that illuminate my license plate, on the other hand, died out last night. It began as a blip on the screen. It was completely dead in less than 5 minutes. I'm lowering my rating to three stars because this makes driving my car illegal in my state.

Great! Love it!   So, prior to this, I had one with a plastic light housing
5/5

Bad idea. The first time I rode, the louvred piece and lens both fell off. After that, it was fine for a while after I made a lens for it and installed it. When I took off my rear wheel to replace it with a new one, I dropped the old one six inches to the floor, and every led in it fell out, lol. As a result, I returned to Amazon. br>br>I came across this one, which I didn't buy the first time because the other one was cheaper, but it was super easy to install, looks great, and is all metal. The plate holder isn't the only thing. I've already gotten a lot of positive feedback on how nice it looks, which is entirely appropriate. br>br>In my opinion, it is well worth the extra money to get a much higher quality part, and if you're reading this review, I strongly advise you to do so.

It appears to be a dependable light
5/5

This thing appears to be extremely durable. The bracket and mounts are nice, and the "plate" for the license plate appears to be 1/4" steel! I haven't connected it yet because it didn't come with a wiring diagram and I only need two wires, not three, but I'm sure I'll figure it out. So far, everything has gone well. I'll keep you updated.

Very let down
3/5

Poor quality control and shoddy workmanship. br>In the tali light and brake light modes, eight LEDs do not light up. When the brake is applied, the white lights on the license plate glow even brighter, indicating that it is wired properly. br>There are cold solder joints all over the place, and some of the LEDS have melted due to poor factory soldering. Regrettably, it's more of the same cheap China nonsense. br>Because I waited too long to try to install it, the return period has now passed.

Construction is solid and heavy
5/5

For the price, I was pleasantly surprised that it was made entirely of metal; the way the lens goes over the LED board, however, could have been improved with a screwdriver and wrench. br>I'd buy it again for future bikes without hesitation.

It is a good deal
5/5

The retro brake light on the back of the cx500 seat hoop was particularly appealing to me. I used adele electrical clamps to secure it, but I'm on the lookout for a suitable mounting bracket. On my lower shock mount, I used a plate holder. Everything appears to be working properly. The finish is clean and the quality is good heavy gauge metal. There is plenty of light. When you apply the brakes, it gets even brighter.

It was cheap, and it broke on the first ride! I bought this for a project bike, so I didn't immediately install it
3/5

The light came apart and flew off somewhere on the highway when I finally installed it (last week) and took the bike out for a test ride (70 miles), and I can't seem to find a replacement. I'm not happy that it broke on the first ride; perhaps the company will send me a replacement light, and I'll use lock tight on the two tiny bolts that hold the light in place; the light isn't worth the money in my opinion, and I'd return it if I could.

This was a bright, nice little piece of kit to round out my bobber build, and it was great for a short period of time
3/5

Unfortunately, the lens fell out after 20 minutes of highway driving, and the entire brake light began dangling from the mounting hole, so I'm now up a creek without a paddle trying to find something to replace it, and it's too cheap to send it back.
