It is different from the Apparently it was made by an entirely different manufacturer because my first one lasted about 8 years
4/5

Two of the LEDs in my wife's light stopped working, which gave an officer the reason to stop her and warn her about the In 8 years this is the first time it has happened.
The original one was all black and light only came out at the front as This one has gray or smokey hues and shines with light from all sides. As part of my original install, I wanted to replace my stock brake light on my rear dash for more visibility since the model has a lower profile, and the light is brighter to be seen through tinted windows. On this model, however, the glass reflects all over the rear window, so it can be seen through the back end opposite the headlights. The windows of my rear window are reflecting the top of the tape, so I covered it. The issue is not present if exterior is used properly. However, it is not the same as the OEM of all black.

This is the perfect error
5/5

Despite the fact that it is misleading, I was able to succeed through this ad. I am not using a red lens on this third brake light. The smoked lenses look great on my 1999 Chevy suburban, even though I've never been a fan. I also would like to give you some advice. If this is your first time changing a third light on a Yukon, Suburban, or Tahoe. Once you have taken the clips off the headliner in the rear, you can use the connectors that are provided. There's just a small mention of it under Using wire nuts instead of wire nuts was not an option for me because I wasn't aware of this.

A very bright star
4/5

On my 1995 GMC Jimmy I installed this. As opposed to being attached to the hood of my vehicle, the brake light is attached to the hatch window glass. GM uses this light in many applications for various vehicles, so I had to trim away some plastic around the mounting holes on the light to get it to sit flush to the vehicle molding pad, but this was expected. According to a video clip, you can attach a piece of string or wire to the old light harness to pull it through the opening during installation so you can pull the new one through as well. In order to attach the new light, I used hot shrink butt splices on the factory harness. In order to eliminate unnecessary slack in the wires, I simply shortened them. For a watertight seal, 3M double sided tape was included. I'm pleased with the results. I'm impressed with the quality of the light and the price is a great deal.

It is imperative that you have Dremel Tool if you are purchasing a 2000 Blazer
3/5

Plug and play is written on the device. It may be necessary for you to remove material from the new lights housing in order to fit the lights on the 2000 blazer mounting bracket (if done correctly, it will not be noticed after you're done). It is possible to do this if you know how to use a dremel and a flat top grinding bit, but otherwise you will no longer be able to. You also need a grommet that is half the size of the original one for the wiring. To use the original, you'll have to cut it out and paste it onto the copy. As long as you don't mind doing all this, the bracket will fit and will have a factory fit when you are I definitely don't believe the plug and play claim is true (maybe for a Blazer but not the Suburban). Please note that you need to modify this for the 2000 blazer as well as possibly other models. However, I know it is going to take some work for a 2000.

Review discusses how it looks nice and works, but it has to sacrifice water protection on the socket
3/5

Okay, so I previously posted a 1 star review, but have now changed it because I was able to install and use it successfully. Almost every factory plug attached to a truck has a rubber washer (see the picture of the washer in review) of some sort to prevent moisture from entering the connection. The rubber washer that comes with the lamp will not fit inside the plug socket. You need to remove the washer to get the nut to fit. Even though the light is nice and bright enough, I would only give it 3 stars due to the fact that I had to remove the rubber washer, which will eventually cause moisture to get into the socket.

It makes a world of difference
5/5

The stock version is not as bright. I purchased it to replace the light bar on a 1997 Chevy had to get into the ceiling liner to reach the electrical connection and then I had to make it look pretty when I put it back together. That only took about 15 minutes with just a Phillips head screwdriver and a small flat tip that I used to open the connector lock. This is an easy fix to upgrade your dim light bar and is highly recommended if your light bar is dim!.

It almost looks like A few negative remarks have been made about this product First of all, it was extremely difficult to connect the wire
4/5

I had to use a screwdriver turned sideways and both of my hands to try to latch it It barely made it, in the end. As a second design flaw, the bottom row of LED's were partially covered by a This third brake light appears to be intact, but I think I lost some of the visible field of view. I was able to get the light to work and it is now illuminated. My needs are met by that.

The exact thing I was looking for
5/5

Initially I purchased one from another vendor, but I then realized the plug would not fit. I cut the wires and attached the pigtail to the plug. There was no way to attach the pigtail to the light! Because the light connected to my original wiring, I was able to reconnect the original wiring and install it without much trouble.
