My 2007 Ford F150 is now equipped with this. The wiring was factory-installed, and the product fit directly into the factory. A large gasket came attached to the gasket, which was made up of two parts. It does not provide instructions on what type of gasket to use. In this case, the perimeter of the light was sealed with the larger gasket. With the smoke lens, the new light looks great. However, there is a major flaw in the design of this light. Having read reviews about water getting into the light and the truck, I applied a medium-grit gasket maker to the gasket and painted a circle around the light as well as around the wires that enter the I noticed that I put the tool on upside down after putting my tools up after putting them up. It was a simple matter to put the gasket maker on correctly. At least once, I was able to see the brake light. There was a rainstorm the following evening. I felt they were lying to me that night when they said the brake light didn't work when I went to show my friends my new light. It was a good thing the cargo light was bright. I also noticed that the brake light was awesome when I saw it for a few seconds. It was very easy to wire after I spread the wires on the plug out. My impression of the smoke color was inaccurate, but it turned out to be fine. You can wear it with ease because it's just the right shade. Overall, I did what I could to avoid the problems I knew about, but I wasn't able to do Then I'll get a new one/brand the day I get it and put it on the same day it came. The lighting is very bright and I love how easy it is A perfect seal is ensured with the 3M tape. A LED light plug is a direct plug-in item. Wires are already in the factory harness, so no wiring is needed! A 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac has been installed with the system.

The wiring on my 06 F150 did not match the stock wiring. On my truck, a new wiring harness had to be spliced in due to a broken harness. The situation is not A shiny plastic will not break easily, but it looks brittle and is easily cracked. Installing electrical components should not be done with power tools.

A third brake was neither in my target market nor on my wish list, let alone as a gift. I could not help but think that it would look better on my BF's truck when I first saw it. Because of the lack of proper connectors, he had to hard wire the light. It's a BIG hit with him. Until this new one was gifted to him, he had never made use of his original 3rd brake light. I suspect the sun has affected the upper brake light and bed light lenses of my 16 year old F150. All the screws were gone, along with the lens. In fact, the original equipment replacement was going to cost $75 or more, so you can't beat the price of the light assembly at just $29. Connecting the electrical leads to the sockets of the old lamp assembly is the first step. There appears to be little to no assembly required, and the gasket appears to be of good quality. Neither the fit nor the fitment were problematic for me.

I like the product, but the gasket is weird to put on. It took me a while to figure out which part to put on and which to leave out. The only thing you need for a 2005 F150 is a screw driver. It's simply a matter of taking out the bulbs and replacing them with the white clips. As a first impression, I was confused as hell thinking I was missing It's not that they go in a different place from the bulbs if the bulbs were there I got the red one as well, but it looks a lot worse than the stock one. You did a great job.
