A vehicle like this one has the engine and transmission in the middle of the car as a weight distribution feature. While the car is cold, it idles at 2000 RPM, which produces an enormous amount of vibrations and noise. Furthermore, the car roars at 4000 RPM while doing 65 mph while on the highway. It can be molded and cut easily and sticks to any surface. The only thing you have to do is to keep the surface clean. My boom mat was cut with sheet metal sheers and then bent to fit my application, including trimming the corners and bending it to fit around bumps This firmly adheres to any surface that it is placed on. I purchased these four strips to cover up my RWD drone under my rear seats on long road trips because it can be a bit annoying on the road. We just had enough coverage for everyone, and it reduced noise in the back seat - people in the back are now able to hear anyone sitting in the front without straining their ears. I did not use these typically for an install (such as around door speakers or subs in the trunk), but I can say without a doubt that it was a high quality product and the installation process was easy. Peel and stick the peel and stick, smooth down the material as desired, let it mold/dry for about an hour if you want to be safe, and then replace the door/seat/trunk I am not sure whether it matters, but only one of the sheets has the BOOM MAT logo on it. The rest are just plain sheets with no mark. As an added bonus, they hardly stink, and have stood up to days of temperatures as high as 103 F without feigning ill. There have been rumors that cheaper sound deadners can emit a smell at high temperatures because of inferior My purchase was based on the fact that no smell was important for me, so I saw this while researching deadners.

I used it along with the spray. In my 2014 Mustang GT, which is used for track days and autocross, I used it to line the rear. Having traveled back and forth from the track, I have to let the trunk cool to the point of being able to put anything underneath. The first thing I do before going to the track is to put my stands, jack, and a few other things in a little bag (there is no spare). To begin with, I removed all the rear seats, all the items in the trunk, then first I sprayed the boom mat spray. In the end, I laid this mat over the spray. After that, I bought some insulation and heat shielding on Amazon, taped/glued it over the boom mat and now the car seems to run more quietly and warm. I mentioned earlier that this stuff isn't thick enough to use for the project mentioned, and by itself, it wouldn't work too well.

There aren't many mats for the price. I loved the product, but the price doesn't include much of it. In the process of making a second purchase I came across a brand called "kilmats" that are exactly like boommats, except for the fact that you get a lot more for your money. This car is equipped with both brands, and it is in good condition! The picture shows an example of a In black, the boom mat, and in silver, the kilmat. There is no difference in quality between the two!.

In 100% of my trunk and trunk lid, as well as all of my doors, I have installed it. I had an issue with this last shipment as I only received nine sheets of 12 1/2" x 24" instead of all ten In order to get the final sheet, I would need to return it and get another box. Having said that, I don't want to wait any longer, so I will have to accept that I've lost. It is unacceptable if the sheets are not counted when received!.

This product was recommended to help deaden the sound and provide added durability for my Mustang restoration. When I purchased it, it was recommended to help protect my new carpet from damage while installing it. I've noticed that the sound when I close my car door has become much more solid since installing this. Definitely recommended for the application that you are working on.

For automotive applications, this is a good size, with a substantial feel, cutting is easy, and it Dynamat is preferable to Boom Mat since it is flat when shipping It didn't need to be heated to produce a workable product. My initial skepticism was supplanted by tighter bass, a slight reduction in road noise, and finer sound quality in general. Wrap the door with this tape- Speakers were mounted to the inside surface of the door (behind the speakers) as well as to the interior In the event sound deadeners were less expensive, I would totally cover the interior of my car. I would highly recommend this product.

Though the thickness of this boo Matt wasn't as great, it was easy to install and very easy to install. The sound quality of the rattle has drastically diminished. I would buy it again but I would wish it was thicker, they sell it thicker.
