There is no problem with the break pedal switch stopper My 2002 Mazda Protege's brake lights stayed on even when the ignition was turned off, which was a pleasant surprise

It shattered into five pieces after the stopper on the brake pedal was dropped. It has been flawless for me since I ordered a replacement from Ihave. It was a bit uncertain at first regardless of whether it would work. It has now been corrected so that the brake lights go out properly.

I cannot think of a better replacement! It has the factory grommet that broke off, leaving tail lights on all the time

As soon as I realized this part was causing the issue, I replaced it with one of these. The installation was tricky because of the position, but I used a flat head screwdriver to snap it in while applying brake pressure I have not had any problems since I installed Perfect Fix!.
