Hooke Road Left Side Dead Pedal Footrest Kick Panel Metal Step Compatible with Jeep Wrangle JK & Unlimited 2007-2018

I did not have an exact fit with this piece on my 2010 JK, but it was solidly constructed. Apparently I needed to ream out the holes to line them up with the bolts This wouldn't be a big deal to me, but it might be for others thinking that this is a simple installation. Please note that I am 5'4" and that I have this on the furthest setting - in case that helps anyone decide. With my knees bent, this is the position where my leg rests comfortably. Because of a previous ankle injury, I wanted a place where my foot would sit in a neutral position for prolonged periods of time. Because of this, sitting with my ankle in the wrong position for a prolonged period of time is not comfortable. My review is 4 stars because this does what I need but with a few modifications.

I was able to install this easily. All that needs to be done with a 10mm socket is to remove two black bolts and two black nuts. It was easiest to remove the ground loops and hooks from the bracket and install them on top to allow it to be flush mounted. In my case, the holes at the end (the pedal furthest away) worked perfect for me. I am 6'2". Keeping my foot flat on the floor for a long period of time made it impossible for me to use.

Not good at all. Due to the long trips I take in my Jeep, I have a bad back. The purpose of buying this was to rest my left foot on it while walking. There is no doubt that it relieves A good job has been done with the construction of this item. There was one thing I didn't like about my 2014 JKU the mounting holes didn't line up. In order for the pieces to fit, I had to file the holes to lengthen them. A few directions would be nice to have as well. Though I know it is not difficult to put the glass onto it, it would be helpful to know where you should mount it on the side. The option to include a short diagram would have been nice. I would recommend it to friends. I am glad I paid for this. I cannot justify paying $30 for this, but I can pay $19 for it.

Fits perfectly although it was a little difficult Even though I weight 250 pounds, I can rest on it and I can also put my weight on it and it holds up.

This is exactly what I The author deserves to be rated 5 stars because this is such a great book. As described, it is VERY strong and a great price. I'm a fat dude who loves to wheel his Jeep hard, so it can take the weight of a 300lb human pushing against it when I get into the Jeep or when I'm wheeling. Why it didn't come as standard will never make any sense to me.

I have bolts on my JKU that go into the dash. For me, it took about 15 minutes to set up with Since I am short, the holes closest to the seat are the most convenient for me, but the holes can also be placed wherever is comfortable for drivers of varying.

The price was fantastic. The material was solid, and the installation process was very simple. Using the suggestion of others, you should wean your bolts together gradually until your JK fits I am very comfortable in this chair.

It's a great item, I only wish that the pedal could be adjusted a little bit higher once it's in place, but overall it's The installation can be done by any woman, no technical knowledge required. 2 nuts need to be unscrewed. Highly recommended.
