THE PRICE, HOWEVER, is just a damn shame. I must say, that is a great deal. The majority of people notice my hood scoot and they think I have a great set of nip-tucks, but many think I am purely functional and not decorative. I CAN WASH IT UP on my truck just like my black paint. THE SET APPEARS TO BE MANUFACTURED. It is impossible to be happier than this. replaced the Chinese 3M knock off with real 3M automotive double sided tape, measured the hood width to make sure it was centered, and hand wiped it well to get rid of road film and wax. WARNED AND REMOVED THE 3M TAPE, WAITED FOR THE hood to be good, then peeled the 3M tape off. As soon as the engine was running I put the hood cap on, pressed it down firmly, and let the engine warm up a little before I pressed it down a second time firmly. THERE WERE NO GAPS AND THE SEAL WAS PERFECT. WE SAW NO ISSUES WITH BLOWING THE SCOOP OFF WAS WE WASHED THE TRK WITH THE POWER CAR WASH. As soon as I got home, I waxed the whole vehicle. Again, we are all gushing about how awesome the scoop is.

purchased this with the idea that I would use it as an auxiliary furniture piece, but I had to postpone having it available due to lack of funds. It will happen, I promise. While I was thinking about using it as a decoration piece, I thought about hanging it. It will probably be carbon fiber, but don't know how long the shine will last. You can paint it but I will probably paint it. The answer is no, I believe. It won't be until it's on my car that I will know more.

While the scoop itself is fine, when it arrived, I noticed that the mesh on the screen It was easy for me to I have noticed that the mesh has begun to fall out after having it on for a couple of days. It is falling out from the inside due to its insertion from the inside, and I am unable to remove the scoop to salvage it. As a word of advice, if you are going to use this, I recommend adding something inside the scoop to secure it to the mesh since whatever is used by the manufacturer is not a long lasting solution.

You can save about $10 by purchasing online rather than going to your Despite Amazon's assurance that the item would fit my vehicle with little effort, I was not able to directly attach the item to my vehicle as advertised.
