If I hadn't had such a large winch, the installation would have been much easier, but I was able to slide some polishing cloths between the grill and the winch and pull it down and into place from underneath the Jeep. The wiring was simple; I grounded it on a stud that held the top of the fender to the metal frame, and I scabbed the hot wire into the hot wire of the front right fender's side marker. You should get some cable/zip ties and wrap and secure all of the small grill wiring that runs from the driver's side to the passenger's side to keep it out of the way and out of sight. There are no rattles and it looks and performs well. br>A completely new front end that brings your 'older' (but better) Jeep into the 21st century. It's inexpensive and well-made to last. If you hire a professional to paint it, as I did, your costs may rise. I usually do small projects like this with touch-up spray paint, but you can't seem to find my odd color-scheme. I wanted it to be perfect--which it is--and clear coated to keep it looking new for a long time, so I paid $350 to have it done. It was originally $250, but my wife took it and paid for it. I'd complain, but it was still $50 less expensive than any other nearby location. 00 at that price, and it's in perfect condition. Next, I'll try to upload some photos so you can see some of the other features that distinguish my Jeep- Amazon products were used.
It was a fantastic product that was also delivered quickly! I bought it for my boyfriend's Jeep! It gleams and is strong! He said the cables were simple to connect and that the build quality was excellent! It's a perfect solution. His Jeep now appears to be brand new!.
The first box was broken and had a damaged grill when it arrived. Amazon quickly stepped in to fill the void. However, after receiving the replacement and attempting to install it, I discovered that it is incompatible with the LED lights I have installed. It's either shave the area around the headlights or go back.
It was very simple to put this grill together. One of the mounting holes on the top didn't line up perfectly, but this was easily fixed with a drill. It lends the jeep a threatening appearance. We decided against painting it because it blends in with the rest of our matte black accessories.
It's well-made and fits perfectly, and I adore it. The color scheme is fantastic.
The video was taken before the marker lights were added. It's fantastic, and it makes my jk look like a jerk! I get a lot of positive feedback!.
To make them fit, we had to shave away some plastic. The installation on the car, on the other hand, was extremely simple.
I didn't like that my marker / turn signal lites didn't fit, so I had to modify the lites and holes and still use super glue to keep them in place, and now if anything happens, I'll have to order all new of both, plus you have to cut the holes longer where you put the push pins in because they don't all line up.
