The vent clip is not compatible with the 2016 x3 f25.
Mine is. 2016 BMW X5 35I I didn't care for the product's finish at that price point, but it works perfectly. It does, however, fit, and it looks better than a black hole in the dash.
They have a chrome finish.
Chrome is not an option.

Finally, instead of $300, the missing piece on my airvent costs $20. On every air vent in the BMW X5 2016, there is a small silver plastic piece. They appear to be simple to remove. About 6 months ago, one of mine fell off for no apparent reason. Normally, this cosmetic repair necessitates the purchase of the entire air vent assembly ($300). This is no longer the case. This was a $20 find that fit perfectly. I'm going to get an extra just in case.
Although this product does not specifically state that it is compatible with the X3, I went ahead and ordered it anyway because someone said it was. When the tab arrived, I double-checked that it interfered with the vent control parts. I cut the tab and epoxied it to the car as shown in the images to make it work "well enough. " This was my best option because I couldn't find an equivalent part that would fit an X3. Overall, I'm pleased, but I wish there was a part that could be snapped into my model vehicle without the need for modifications or glue.
For the past year, these small silver pieces have popped off my BMW, and I keep reinstalling them. When I lost one, I contacted the dealer, who informed me that I would have to purchase the entire unit, including vents and other components, but I discovered these on Amazon and they fit perfectly and look brand new. One tip: If it resists at first, keep pushing very slowly until it fits snugly as if it were OEM.
It was a perfect fit for my 2016 X5.
I figured these would be a cheaper alternative to replacing a vent assembly for $300. For a piece of tin material that couldn't possibly cost more than $20 per piece, it's a no-brainer. You can rest easy knowing that you didn't spend a lot of money on BMW because it only cost 02 cents to make. Let's see how long they last since they fit like OEM.
The product received five stars because it replaced the missing trim tabs. They are, however, way overpriced for a single inch of sliver chrome-plated steel. However, they appear to be the only show in town capable of replacing these vent tab trim pieces, so.
The chrome plated trim piece was a big hit with us! The plan had been to glue it in place, but after seeing how it went in, we decided that wasn't necessary. In addition, it would not come out, which is a good thing! It's a little pricey, but it's preferable to having to replace the entire unit just to make it look nice. Overall, I'm very pleased!.
I accidentally pushed the clip into my vent the first time. The sequence has been changed. Closed off vent with painter's tape, tried 4 times, took a deep breath, and pushed on. . . it's ON! And it looks fantastic; the price is well worth it, even if you buy two.
