Front Grille Garnish Radar Sensor Cover for Tacoma TRD PRO 2018 & 2019 TSS Sensor Cover

As a result, I had my doubts that it would work. I was given a non-alcoholic beverage. My sensor stopped working properly after installing an oem tacoma pro grille. I bought this cover because it was reasonably priced, but I read that it required sanding the edges to fit properly. I saw pictures of the part being damaged when it arrived. But I needed to fix this sensor problem, so I pressed the button. The sensor is located on the pro grille, in case you didn't know. That part of the grille, as well as the replacement piece, snaps in and out. After replacing the grill, it was simple and quick to disassemble the entire system, remove the sensor, pop out that piece, snap in the new cover, and screw the sensor back in place. Before writing this review, I drove 130 miles to make sure I didn't get the dash light for the sensor being inoperative. So far, the new cover has done its job. I'll say two things about this part: I wish it was a closer match in terms of color, but it still looks good, even if it isn't an exact match. It also had a small amount of delamination on the bottom edge. It's barely noticeable, but it detracts from the product's overall quality. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who has a pro grille with this problem.

I was planning on getting one from the dealership, but it's wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy I tried a different brand of sensor, but it didn't work either. I decided to buy this one to give it a try, and it worked perfectly! The fit was excellent, and the finish was excellent as well. I couldn't be more pleased with the finished product.

I was hesitant to purchase non-OEM parts because I did not want to risk the sensor failing. I was so afraid of it that I refused to buy the Pro grill. I was almost ready to give up and try to buy a more expensive one in the hopes that the quality would be acceptable. I decided to go ahead with the project, and the garnish worked out perfectly. The sensor slid into the grill like a glove. The edges didn't need to be modified or dermalized. I put the cruise control and emergency brake systems to the test several times and had no problems; I wasn't thrilled that the garnish was silvery rather than black and stood out, but I don't mind it as much as I thought. Overall, I'm very pleased with how this turned out! Tacoma, 2021.

This TSS garnish looks great and goes great with TheTacoGarage's TRD Pro aftermarket grill. The pattern is a lighter gray, similar to most other aftermarket TSS garnishes, but it still looks good enough in my opinion, especially for the price; additionally, the sensor continues to work perfectly with this garnish, so there are no issues there. br>br>I deducted a star because of the color, as well as the fact that both bottom clips were extremely bent when I received them, despite the fact that the box was undamaged and clearly occurred during shipping. I heated the clips and bent them back into place with a heat gun, which worked well; otherwise, they would have snapped if I had tried to bend them back as is. There is also a small gap between the top of the garnish and the grill, but it is difficult to notice.

Yes, I found a less expensive piece on eBay, but it didn't work, so I wish I had bought this one first. Not to mention the fact that I never received a refund. br>This item is in excellent condition and well worth the money.

Since installing the TRD pro style grill and garnish on my 2020 Tacoma, I've used cruise control multiple times and it's still working perfectly. I've had the grill and garnish on the truck for a few weeks now, and it looks fantastic. After another company sold me a garnish that didn't work, I decided to purchase this. It took a little filing to get it to fit properly, but it's worked perfectly since then. The filed edge is not visible once it is installed.
