Also, unlike what they show on YouTube, there is no need to remove the bolts under the hood! If you're careful, as I was, you can remove the clips by sliding your fingers in and depressing them from the top down. Make sure you keep it out of the way so it doesn't go back in! It was only ten minutes long! I really like this item!!.
The fit is excellent, and the appearance is far superior to the chrome grilles. Look up a video of Brian at Kies Motors installing a car on YouTube. It's much easier to remove the second grille after removing the first one because you can reach into the opening from the first grille. It took about 20 minutes for me to complete the task. It took me 30 minutes to complete the installation. The black grilles on my BMW look so much better than the chrome grilles. Although these grills are attractive, they are not as durable as OEM parts. The vertical slats are much thinner and bend more easily than the horizontal slats. They do, however, appear to be far superior to OEM components.
It was fortunate for me that the grill was the only part of my car that was damaged. It was going to cost me $80 to replace the OEM one. 150 As a result, I decided to research aftermarket alternatives. br>br>I went with the Matte option on these and I'm really happy with them. The matte dual fin design gives the car a more aggressive/sporty look than the OEM ones on the car, and the construction is honestly better than the OEM ones on the car. If you're looking to replace a broken or worn-out OEM grill or simply want to upgrade, these are a great option.
Once you've removed the old kidney grills, these are a breeze to install. I'll admit that trying to remove two of the plastic tabs on my old kidney grills, I broke two of them. This was probably due to my lack of understanding of how the tabs worked. Take a look at how-to videos on YouTube and consider purchasing one of the small metal pry tools shown in the videos. I wasn't too concerned because I wasn't going to replace the old grills. br>br>These new black kidney grills look great on my 2014 BMW 328i Sportline and give it a sportier look. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that they were a little lighter than the previous ones, and I'm not sure how well they'll hold up.
The front grill is of excellent quality and installation is a breeze. This is something I would recommend to anyone who owns a BMW 328xi.
These grilles are fantastic value for money, with OEM quality and fit. In less than 15 minutes, I completely transformed the appearance of my car. If you're familiar with automobiles, installation is simple. It's important to remember that you'll need to remove the top of the bumper cover to get access to the old grilles. These fit perfectly and snap tight into place after the old ones are removed. br>It's a definite must-have!.
The originals were involved in a minor accident and were replaced in a 2017 BMW series 3 320i. I liked how they turned out, and I saved a lot of money by not having to put them in the Diler.
This was my first exterior mod, and let me tell you, it took a long time. At first, I saw some youtube videos claiming that you could just stick your hand in between the oems and pop them out, but that proved to be difficult, and I ended up having to move the bumper around to get them installed, but they look great. They've been on my F30 for a few months now, and they really stand out. To go with the glossy black, I'll get the smoked front headlamps.
