Those of mine rub a little against the handles as they rise and fall, but they are functional nonetheless.

Yes, I agree. Since I had to replace the horizontal bolts on my previous grip handles, I had to use those bolts. There is about a 1/2 inch gap between the ones supplied and the ones installed. You might be able to force them into place, but that's how I discovered that they were too short and created cross threading. As a result, the installation did not turn out perfect, but I was able to swap out the shorter bolts for the longer ones. As a result of using the longer bolt from the start, the passenger side installation went flawlessly.

As soon as summer hits, these things get Grabbed them so hard that I almost burnt my hand. As soon as I park in my driveway, I turn my Jeep off the sun. It has tinted windows. However, I wrapped paracord around the part you grab and it looks and works fine. be careful you don't touch them too much since they can get very hot. This problem could be solved if the grip was coated.
The problem is. My sun visors lose their functionality when I use the grab handles because they give my hands too much space to grasp and hold on to them. There may be those for whom this is not an issue, but I use mine every now and then. Although I tried to arrange them and still use the visors, it did not work out for me. You can see pictures here.
