We had no problem fitting them into our 73 bus. As well as fitting 68 to 79 busses, the Bus Depot site says they also work on Overall, it was a significant improvement over the generic plastic handles. I did have to sand the plastic edges a bit for comfort, but I still found it to be a great replacement. One set is in a super beetle and one set is in a Mk1 cabriolet, so a lot of models use them.
A VARIATION OF THESE WILL FIT Bugs made in 1968 and later
It would be useful if they did. Our 1987 Vanagon will fit them. There might seem to be something on them and they look out of place, but all you have to do is paint them.
In 1974, I bought an in and mounted it on my Although I doubt very much that it will fit on your 1980 Volkswagen Rabbit, you could try and return it if you want

It's a cheap look once you receive them because the plastic feels thin and you're not getting much for your money. No one has to know you never drive a car or roll down the Despite the relatively smooth surface of the plastic, I find the edges of the seams to be sharp, and I think the whole thing looks cheap and like it belongs on a child's toy.
Compared to the OEM crank handle, this is a lot better. Since the door panel extends farther from the handle, you don't hit your knuckles on the door panel when using these.
Jordan W. My view is the same as yours Using aftermarket speakers, bend them a little so they will crank. Many of us with door speakers will now be able to get rid of a frustrating problem. I placed it on the ground with the knob facing up and gently tapped it (not too hard) in the middle for about a second, and then it bent a little This window crank has a good fit (but not perfect) over the door "star" coupling that controls the window up/down, and is tight enough to work (the best fit would be to grind this crank down a few MM to make this work perfectly). Not expected to snap in half, so get ready to stand up to their weight. Definitely worth the $2 price tag for two!.
I was able to install this on my 73 standard without any issues. I was glad to see there were two Allen screws included with the unit, as the stock screws are It is a little disappointing that the knob you hold onto seems very loose, and I am unsure if it can hold together for long. As time progresses, I will update this post.
They came with mounting screws and are exactly what I wanted.
Various OEM models were replaced because the original Chinese ones did not fit well and one broke the first time It's a pleasure to use these Empi cranks because they're of such high quality and fit perfectly.
There will be no broken vanagon handles anymore. I am not sure what the chrome finish matches, but it is a nice touch.
Aluminum with a cast finish. This appears to be a decent deal for the.
