It seems to me that you require a latch on the driver's side of the passenger's window, Miguel. As far as your needs are concerned, I don't see how it could be useful.

This is a perfect fit for a Even though Amazon says it doesn't fit the vehicle, this latch is the exact fit for a 1992 Jeep Cherokee! I also like how the latch works

There were two different sizes of rubber spacers included, I used the thicker one, and the latch fits tight as a result. It matches my interior as well and the chrome latch complements the look nicely. I think the thicker one could be used if you really wanted to, but I didn't think it was I found installation to be relatively easy as well the hardest part was probably putting the pin through once it was all put The flat bed was large enough for my needs. Use a pair of blunt-ended pliers to insert it.

Aftermarket latch that works well. It is only available on the driver's side. I was able to use it even though the "Check Fit" option here said it was not compatible with my '95 Chevy G20 Van. You can choose between two different washer sizes and spring sizes depending on the thickness of the glass. It seems as though the latch is fairly universal, so do not rely on the results of vehicle matches. As a result, I was very glad to find this because I couldn't find the OEM part anywhere!.

The 89 Jeep Cherokee can be fitted with this part

My 89 Jeep Cherokee vent window worked with this product, although it is not an exact replacement. The installation process was a bit fiddly, and I needed another pair of hands to finish it. It's helpful to have two pairs of hands available when hammering the retaining pin into the handle assembly. The assembly should be held firmly while the pin is hammered in, so two sets of hands will come in handy. A key latch handle that is bigger and a lot more practical than the stock one. It has a snug closure that is.

I ordered the unit thinking it would fit my Cherokee, but had to return it because the unit arrived for a Chevy pickup truck. Even though it wasn't the right fit for me, nevertheless I installed it anyways, knowing that one size fits all. It did fit, but is larger than it should be when it comes time to unlock the wind wing, making me apply more force to open and unlock. The situation is not as it should be! There will be no way for thieves to get in! As a consequence, I would advise you to make sure you receive exactly what you ordered or you should send it back. It is not possible to interchange them!.
