Questions & Answers

Can these be used with a dual?

I am not sure, but I don't see why they shouldn't fit as long as there is clearance between the tires and the fenders

Have these ever been used There is only a small amount of rust here that needs to be covered and I don't want any flares sticking out. ?

As I mentioned, I did exactly that with my plow truck - a full-size F250 extended cab. I would show you a picture if I understood how to do it.

Does this fit with my 02 crew cab short bed F250? Both the fender and the bed area are not flat, but flared. Will ?

Regardless of what manufacturer's bed you have, these fit. Therefore, if there is currently nothing there and it is without a stick, then it should go over it without any issues

The truck I have is a 2000 model F250 with a bed from a 2011 model truck. Will these flares fit it?

There's no way they'll do so. Flares on the front and back would fit, but a substantial gap would exist at the rear. It doesn't even fit the rear fenders of my 2007

At an affordable price, you can get a nice fender flare
5/5

These fender flares look really good after all is said and done. It was a pain in the you know what to install. It is necessary to mount each rivet and to apply the weather stripping to each flare before its installation. Invest in some 1" screws and washers and you will thank yourself later. It will speed up the install, you can trust me. You need to remove the three stock screws from your fender well to install the front fenders, then hold on to the flare, and wind them back on again. There are jinky clips on the back that are enough to make you want to pull your hair out. The best thing to do here is to discard the boxes in the trash, use self-tapping rubber washers, and finish. Having them on there now gets me a lot of compliments at less than half the price of bushwackers.

The 2002 F250 is a good value and a quality car
5/5

Since I was a kid, all kinds of flares have been installed on the trucks and off road rigs that my friends and I owned. There are plenty of no name cheap ebay specials as well as top of the line products. This is a quality alternative at a reasonable price and is IMO competitive with many of the better brands in There is nothing difficult about installing the faux bolts or the rubber stripping all it takes is a bit of patience. Tyger did a good job on them so I know they will last. The only thing I have to say about installation is that I agree with others that the S clips that come with the kit should not be used. For securing the rear flares, it was easier to drill into the fender lip and use small sheet metal screws to hold them in place. However, I would use washers because otherwise the screws might pull through the plastic when trying to secure them. If you want the best fit with the smallest gap, be sure to follow the instructions for tightening sequences. Its color is great and it has no wrinkles. Installing the rears will be a breeze with a couple C clamps or wood clamps, and you will no longer require another set of hands to hold them together. For reference, our truck has a 6" lift with 36" swampers on a 10" wide wheel and a 6" lift. As well as the 12" width, I imagine the 13" width would fit as well. In the process of buying the smooth finish, I took into account that if I didn't like the black on my truck I might paint them but I actually like the smooth finish more than the textured finish. have the option of going back and painting them with bed liner if I want to achieve that same effect.

Despite the new look, my wife and I are quite happy with it
4/5

It took some work to install them properly, as described in several other reviews. A pair of these was installed on the long bed of my 2002 Ford F250 Superduty. As I wasn't able to get the clips to work properly for the rear flares, I had to drill and screw (only for the rear flares). Since they are on, they cover up the damaged wheel well edges, making the truck look like it was brand new Despite the new look, my wife and I are quite happy with it. It would be helpful if you could For these flares to work correctly, the OE or other aftermarket mudflaps must be removed prior to installation. Where I live, I notice that when I drive on a wet, dirt road, the rocker panels, running boards, doors, and rear corners of the truck bed get splattered a lot. There is a strong likelihood that gravel damage in these areas will also increase. There is a need for a product that can integrate with flares and prevent mud, gravel, etc. from accumulating, just like the mud flaps.

I found this to be very simple These flares seemed to be a good deal after reading the reviews
5/5

The work I do does not require me to be a mechanic or body worker. No flares or anything like this have ever been installed It took me less than an hour to install them. The riveting took up to two hours. Each fender had to be done separately. I found it helpful to use a power screw driver to tighten them. I found it to be not as tedious as some people had described. While it was slow, but also straightforward, installing the rubber trim went smoothly. It was simply a matter of putting them on a little at a time and pulling off the red plastic coating so the adhesive tape was exposed and rubber would adhere to the flares. On the front fenders, use the three screws that are already on the front fenders to attach them. I have no problem with that. After the front fenders, it moved to the back ones. There are those who report that it is frustrating and prefer to throw away the clips and use self-taping To try out the clips, I chose to use a paper clip. To attach the flare to the truck, I first attached the clips to the flare, then used the existing bolts on the truck to fasten the flare’s front to the body. The rest of the flare was super simple to install as well. In order to slip the clip over the existing fender of the truck, I just had to push the flare in far enough. It was easier to install the rear fenders than the front ones. Due to the flare push, installing these clips during a cold spell would not be recommended due to the flares needing to flex in order to secure the clips. The planes will be painted black and left Including a before and after picture to show how the whole process worked. As part of my effort to improve the look of my truck, I took this first step. My next job will be to work on the tires and rims, then I'll work on the running boards.

It is a truly I found the instructions to be very detailed and the packaging to be great
5/5

It would be a great set of flares to recommend to This is a material that is truly strong. In terms of the physical installation, it took about an hour and fifteen minutes to complete all four sides. I appreciated it!.

Parts that are of poor quality and have a bad fit
3/5

During the winter months, it was open seven days a week), so it was just past the time period. In response to my email, Tyger Auto said some people have succeeded with starting at the top of the flare and working their way around the fender as they still insist that the flares will work. flares on the rear have a gap at the top that is over an inch, and the gap continues all the way through to the bottom until it flushes with the body. Aside from that, the rubber trim is cheap and the adhesive is weak, which easily tears off. It was significant modifications I had to make to get the flares to fit. I purchased my own stainless steel hardware to mount them. Despite owning Tyger Auto running boards, which are awesome, they fell short here, with customer service that's not as good as it could be. I will be going back to Bushwackers when these wear out.

I expected nothing less than excellent! The price and shipping were excellent, and the package arrived in good condition and Then I had them painted to match the The installation went smoothly
5/5

As other reviews recommend, you'll want to invest in some 1. 0" self tapping sheet metal screws to help lock them down. As far as I am concerned, the clips are annoying. The overall experience has been very positive! It is my pleasure to work with.
