If you want them to work you need to remove the stock fender flares but I recommend you go to AutoZone and buy one with a washer and a locking clip so they are easier to screw in than the cheap ones that come with it.
You are right. The product is compatible with model years 2004 to
No painting on ours, we left it black
As far as I know, they don't, so I'm going to contact them. Our 2005 F150 XLT fits perfectly, and the mats look great, too!

These look great, first of all. * * * That's where I draw the line on my positive review. The hardware for installation is a total waste of money. Plastic anchors with a very low strength will not hold these fenders in place long-term, and the installation hardware for the rear fenders cannot be used. It's just that the clamps that come with the unit don't
Within the last week, I installed all four flares. After I had the flares on for three days, I was driving on the highway and my front right flare came off. There was practically nothing to save the anchors from this flare. The flare flew off my truck as I was doing speed limit, 70 mph, and my brackets and road guards were ripped off. The only thing that saved it from breaking someone's windshield is the fact that it flew over my head. The ripped off part of it is visible in my pictures. It would be great if they would send me a replacement, and only this time I will use self-tapping screws to bolt those things right to my There is simply NO way that the installation hardware is secure.
Since it has been below freezing, I have not been able to install my flares until today. This project is not just impressive in terms of how it looks, but also in terms of how easy it was to install. The drilling is not needed, and basic tools are all you need. Moreover, I find them to be fantastic. It is definitely a product I would recommend to others. The customer service at Max Mate Depot was non existent and I would buy them directly from Tyger since Max Mate Depot has deceitful business practices and poor customer service. Before you buy, read my vendor review. Do not waste your time or money at Max Mate Depots!.
These are the ones I installed today on my '07 F150 4WD. The rear clips were not even considered as I had previously read negative reviews. It was just a matter of using self-expression In the picture above, sheet metal screws #10x3/4" are being drilled. If you need black screws, you can order those You can get the rears on Amazon as ASIN B00GYL4J1K
The rears were mostly easy to install, although I had some trouble aligning all the body lines. There were a couple problems with the front flares, and not all the holes lined up with the fasteners on the truck, but I eventually got it working by drilling a couple new holes and using sheetmetal screws once again. If using sheet metal screws, I recommend having a RAD (right angle drill) (PICTURED) to make installation as easy as possible. During the process, I used a Milwaukee M12 2415-style drill In addition to my RAID (right angle impact driver), I also used Milwaukee 2467-C to sink the screws.
Took me about 10 minutes to install. It took 5 hours from start to finish to install. There are too many holes not lined up in the hardware for you to use it. installed the 1/4x1" hex head self tappers using my impact screw gun and a 25 pack of 1/4x1" hex head drill bits. We bought these flares to replace the stock flares on our truck and to cover up some rust. Lots of rust. Although there was lots of rust, we had no problem bolting them on. Due to their extreme flare, I got some 2 inch hubcentric wheel spacers so they wouldn't stick out quite as much as stock flares. The body work cost me $2000, but I saved $2000 by using your services!.
They are of great quality (but they scratch easily). The packages that come with them are nice and tidy, but installing them is just as hard. It is necessary to put the bolts in (the bolts make it appear the fenders are bolted to the car). fenders aren't drilled with holes that match the holes in the tires. On the other hand, the rear need to be mounted manually, as the fronts come with brackets for mounting. Mounting the rear fenders ended up being done with self-tapping screws. Even though I removed my original fender guards, I think that after doing this and installing the new ones, I should have just left the old guards on and installed the new ones over them, so you can go back to stock if necessary. If you want to add a little extra protection and style to your truck, it's worth the money and installation hassle.
My review referred to the self tapping screw Steel Self-Tapping Screw and I used them to install my tires. I also had to remove the rear tires to address rust before installing the due to another review calling out a self tapping screw Steel Self-Tapping Screw Hex washer head with a hex drive and a #3 drill point with a #10 thread black zinc-plated finish.
They look nice overall, however their installation process is awful. It's a garbage anchor and a garbage piece of hardware. The hole in the wall had to be drilled and the hardware was used by myself. I also received one assembled fender of two with the box, and tons of parts were missing. Their quality is worth the money, but they're an absolute pain in the neck. It took about 3 hours for the build and installation to be completed. Hardware should be purchased by the user.
That was a good thing to do. It's a pain in the ass to install this. A lot of work, but You're right, they do look fantastic. It would have been better if the instructions had been clearer. Take a look at the videos on YouTube. You will get through it if you do that. During the installation, about three hours were spent. The first one was removed and the second one was reinstalled to be more effective. The overall picture. That was a good thing to do.
