Rough Country Front Inner Fenders (fits) 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK | Under Fender Armor | 1195

The new inner liners are definitely better than my "left over" plastic factory Then I had to crop it to resize it I installed my SmittyBilt steel fenders after I installed my SmittyBilt Inner liners such as these from Rough Country are all metal and powder coated, and they just enhance the looks. However, they did not come with ANY instructions, and not only that, but they did not come with any products of any kind at all. The box didn't even include a parts list! In fact, not a single piece of paper was inside. A bag of hardware and an eight-piece kit are all you need. There are no left or right side markings, nor are there labels that indicate the piece number 1 joins the piece number 2. I cannot think of anything. Not a thing. We figured out which pieces go on which sides and where in two hours just by placing the pieces on the floor, fitting them, and figuring out where to place them. The manufacturer SHOULD have spent two hours on this. As a result I wasted two hours of my life. I guess as long as people keep giving them 4 and 5 stars (to me, at least! c) they have no incentive to demonstrate a modicum of humanity or appreciation for their customers and to I guess I'll deal with it. Looks good, they do. Below you will find a photo of before and after. one beer!.

We thank Rough Country for their support! I love the way these look, and they are so easy to install. Although the instructions are not that great, I watched an instructional video on YouTube to get them installed. Those fender flares are perfect for my Rough Country wheels. The instructions have contact information if any parts are missing, but I didn't want to wait, so I went to Lowes and got what I needed. I'm not sure what happened, but I noticed after I finished one side that one side was missing all the bolts. RC letters are metal and so you can paint them to add an accent. However, you have to remove the barcode sticker first, which only goes one way. I wish the bar code was on the other side. They look great though and the letters look different from each other. A small side marker was added to the upper right after I drilled a hole in the upper right. Amazon has an amber 3/4 inch led light that you can search for. It's really bolt-on one small hole is needed on each side and it looks like a totally different piece of equipment. These look amazing, protect my engine and were a lot of fun to put on. The missing bolts and those irritating stickers on the paintable plates took me 20 minutes to remove, so I only gave it 4 stars. My 2015 Jeep Rubicon Hard Rock edition is a perfect match for this tire. I've had these on a month and everything has held together just fine, the paint has held up well and no rust has appeared.

This is the video I watched on YouTube. The install I did was plagued by two issues Although one large bolt was missing from the parts list (again, this wasn't an issue since I used the stock bolts), it made no difference since I already had the bolts. Furthermore, the rear side hole protrusion on each of them did not line up with the OE holes. That is why it was given 4 instead of 5 stars. Even so, the fact that the middle isn't bolted doesn't seem to be an issue since the ends well seem sufficient as long as there is no rattle. Overall, happy with the results. I was surprised to find the price so reasonable! The process took three days It took me four hours to install all of them (the last time was only an hour since I had more experience). As far as mechanical skills go, I'm mediocre.

It would have been helpful if there had been some information warning me that it was not compatible with stock fenders, I would either have bought something else or known what I was in for when I began installing it. With that said, if you have stock fenders, you have nothing to be afraid of. Taking off the fenders will allow you to loosely assemble the liners, mock them up to see where the cuts need to be made, then This would have taken 2 hours for me if I had known it in advance. It shouldn't take you more than an hour or so to install fenders with aftermarket fenders, although it may take longer if you don't have aftermarket fenders.

I was able to install them quickly and they fit perfectly on my 2018 Jeep. It's nice that the logo highlight plate comes silver and is ready to spray paint in any colors you want. As a result, I did end up using Astro 1427 Hand Rivet tool and other aftermarket rivet bases You might end up with rivets that aren't as tight as they should be if you try to use the supplied bolt/nut tool. Please take a moment to orient each part before attempting to assemble it. Each item is packaged individually in one large box. It is not necessary to paint both sides of the silver plate if you are only going to do one side. If you live in an area that has a lot of snow, spray some clear coat over the painted surface as the road salt will make the paint vulnerable. In my installation, these are paired with EAG Front and Rear Flares and the holes line up. A tip for You can use the bolts that come with this set instead of the EAG silver ones since they are longer and black.

There is no way that this product is going to fit While I also have the SmittyBilt XRC flat fenders, I also found that the fenders did not match the existing holes after I took those It is ok to follow the instructions, but the images are ridiculously low in quality, so it is better to see them on I found the packaging to be of marginal quality and was These will be returned to Rough Country ASAP, and I won't be purchasing more items from Rough Country ever again. This is a big failure. Having no inner fenders at the start of winter is not good at all.

The combination of these and the RC Fenders was particularly pleasing to me. There were no instructions so I had to put the parts together and refer to pictures. However, it was a fairly easy installation and they cover the inner well quite well. I don't think the RC logo is all that bad. If you really don't like it, you can paint the silver part In the back of the cut out RC logo, there is a rectangle piece that bolts in.
