If you're the proud owner of either a 2 or 4 door 1998 Cherokee XJ, this item will fit. The Amazon store does not currently ship internationally, however there are many Amazon sellers who do.
In my case, if the body is the same as mine, they will fit fine and look great as long as you take care to hide the fenders what makes the difference is the fender openings.

My shop is equipped with these, so everything is working well. I was an autobody tech in the past. My first impression was that the instructions were excellent. This is what I installed in my shop recently so I could store every possible tool and anti-rust application. I took 7 hours to do it Neither these nor any other fenders have ever been installed. As long as you follow the instructions and have a buddy help you, you will be able to do it. It may just take you a few extra minutes. The product looks OEM after it is done and is of the highest quality.
It has a very nice fit and finish, and it shows off the wheel wells very nicely. I would recommend using an air saw for cutting the fenders, it will make the job go a lot This is a must-have if you plan on running larger tires. My order arrived fast, and I found them on Amazon at a cheaper price than I could find anywhere else.
This is a good product, but you should plan to install all four flares in at least a full day. Though the pictures in the instructions aren't as clear as I would have liked, I was still able to understand by reading them. It seems that the drilling of the holes on the inner plastic brackets that hold the outer flare to the Jeep could have used a little bit more quality control. On most of them, the plastic was not trimmed off when they were drilled at the factory, so I had to use a razor blade to remove the excess from the In my experience, you have to clean the holes up after mounting the clips if you want the screw clips to slide on. The flares look wonderful in these photos and I am satisfied with the outcome.
Their strength is what I appreciate about this product. My shoes aren’t even scratched after sliding through a muddy slope and sliding into a bank of dirt! This is a solid product that looks awesome and deserves the price tag. You will have to spend hours getting them on if you do get them. will have to cut the car to fit it and sand it down to make it fit. The work it required was beyond my ability to do remotely and I wasn't prepared to take on that task alone. It took a friend of mine who is a mechanic and a lift to help me put them on. The fact that they are well worth the money isn't in question, but you should get professional help putting them on (unless you know what you're.
3" tires and 4 1/2" lift on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ and they look phenomenal. Detailed instructions are included in the kit to guide you through the installation. If you want the installation to go more smoothly, it's a good idea to trim the excess plastic around all of the screw holes.
It was a lot of work, but the end result is really nice. The standard cut-offs on an XJ don't match up with the appearance of this product, according to me A flare has been sent out. Because I installed it at the same time as rear quarter armor to cover a huge dent on the rear passenger quarter, I had to install it over an extended period of time. There is no doubt that the instructions are exceptional. In addition to air tools, I used electric tools as well. It appears that an individual can perform most tasks by using a 4" electric grinder and a ceramic cut-off wheel, if he so chooses. The instructions require additional tools like a sawzall for the part in which it is required, and we recommend you have a small cut off wheel on the die grinder for doing the tight radii cuts. You should buy 3 or 4 cans of good quality rubberized undercoat before you start to really cake on the cut lines before (inside) and after (outside) you fold the sheets. You need to follow the instructions if you want them to Probably I would do the fronts one day and then get some rest and clean up before I did the rears the next. The whole process can be completed in one day, but it will be incredibly time consuming. Touch up paint and undercoating had a tendency to dry between phases, which was the biggest time waster. It has been commented on by all my neighbors how nice they look once they are finished. Here are some before and after pictures I took. Having owned it since 1989, my rig is an '89. On 34 x 10 you will find the image. After you account for bumpers, armor, and the winch, you have about 7" of rear long arm lift from 50 Swampers. My shop is located in a twisty spot, so some of the after pictures are taken there. One of the after pics shows the front half of the engine In the wheel well it will extend a little further, but the fronts appear to have a lot of miles on them. It will be more challenging to handle the rear of an XJ, but I am relatively confident that I won't After the trip I will try to update. I have a trip in the next couple of weeks.
Despite the expense, they are easy to install and are close to being worth the cost due to their simplicity. Despite looking good and being functional, these are really nice to look at. The real value of these flares lies in their installation on stock, unmodified fenders, so if you are purchasing them to install on fenders that have already been trimmed, maybe buy less expensive flares.
The mounting hardware for these could also be used if your fenders didn't have factory holes you would just use stainless self tappers in the rear and use the provided hardware Also, did you know they can make a great beer holder for when you're setting up.
