A perfect fit and quality from OEM

I found this shroud to be . . . I have been driving Jeeps for over 40 years It is one of the most exact fit matches I've ever seen from a third party replacement product. They fit better than OEM and stock on the 4 than OEM or stock. The shroud on a 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ was replaced due to a deteriorating harmonic balancer that caused the serpentine belt to slide off of the pulleys. the solid quality of the design, the exact fit/match and sturdy packaging made this an outstanding purchase. A 4 will do just fine if you have one. Jeep 0L from around 1997 to 2002 If you are looking for a shroud that will disappoint you, this is it.

I think this is an excellent product. The best and easiest way to install is to remove the four bolts holding the fan to the mount, taking advantage of this to mount the shroud about half way down, then reinstall the fan blades, and finally assemble the shroud. In any case, I was able to use it. There are a few fan bolts that are difficult to reach. Then I rotated the fan back and forth until I found the best location for reaching each bolt with an open end / ratchet end wrench.

My 1999 Jeep Cherokee 4 was missing a shroud, and this is a perfect replacement. As I was replacing an AC at the same time, the AC system basically slipped right in while I was replacing an AC system.

Upon arrival, the shipment was When we received the package, the plastic had a crack about a third of the way through

It was easier just to plastic weld the crack closed and install it than order another one or try to return this one. The system works well, and it is well constructed. The item I got probably wasn't the right one.
