Questions & Answers

What would happen if we use this with a 2015 Honda Civic's lower front skid plate?

The Honda Accord is a standard model The retainer clip that has been used on many Honda models over the I have no idea if this retainer will work for your specific part. It would seem that this would be flimsy at best to hold a skid plate, so breaking off with any force would be a problem.

Can this be used to repair the splash shield under the front part of the 2012 Acura TSX?

As much as I'd like to, I can't. The vehicle I used to test this was a Honda Fit 2009. Originally, it was used to hold the plastic liner under the The car you have could possibly be compared to the same one you own if you're able to find the same. Good luck!

Works just as well as OEM, but not nearly as well as the original
3/5

For my S2000, I changed my fender liners (like a lot of other people here) and the shop broke between 15 and 20 clips while taking them off and replacing them. The OEM clips were $2 a pop at first, and I wasn't sure if they would work. I bought these generic clips off Amazon after I was recommended to do so by the shop. Having said that, I must say you do get what you pay for - the OEM clips we got for this project were great. They are made, and you can take them in and out several times before they break. It's true that most people won't take the clips out, and they are reasonably priced. However, the biggest problem I had with these clips was that half of them just didn't work. It was as if they would push in halfway, get stuck, and inevitably break. As I have a steady hand and am very careful when dealing with my stuff, it is easy to see how delicate they My experience with a screwdriver was frustrating, as I had to gently pry them back out. In short, yes, these are extremely cheap, but keep in mind that half of them are very low quality and will not Take the time to look at each clip carefully Your best bet is to go for those pieces that are tapered and symmetrical. A picture would be best, but the clips I used for my fender liners are already securing them.

The replacements are great! It was very complicated to put LED headlights in my Honda Civic since I had to remove a piece of plastic inside the front fenders to access the wiring (the designer of that brilliant design is incredibly clever)
5/5

During the process of pulling back the plastic, I broke a few of the retainers that keep the plastic covers in place. In the old ones, you'd need to be very careful because they break very easily. It is a good idea to get a box of these first so that you can replace them as you go if you plan on taking any retainer clips off.

The quality of the product is very disappointing
3/5

My order was fulfilled by Amazon and I purchased these from ABLE PROVIDER (fulfilled by Amazon). I was disappointed with the quality of the units I received! The major advantage of plastic is its low cost and ease of use The ears become brittle as soon as the center post is inserted, causing them to break off. These retainers have been tested on two different vehicles, and they have been placed in two different locations on each where factory retainers had been lost. Although I have extensive experience working on cars, my father and a mechanic friend who is a certified Honda tech have all tried to install these and none of us were able to do so without it breaking. There is a real lack of finishing on the underside of the larger washer section I would not recommend purchasing from Able Provider! I might be able to find them for a better price elsewhere, but I'd never recommend purchasing them from them. Sorry to hear that.

The 2011 Honda Fit is compatible with this part
5/5

A replacement retainer tab was needed for the air duct on the underneath of the hood of my 2011 Honda Fit. I utilized the Amazon search tool to find this product. It arrived on time and the tabs worked fine. I replaced four out of five air duct retainers that were missing. It worked great, the quality was similar to the OEM originals, and I have some extras in the glove compartment. It was a great price, I would buy it.

The product is not worth the price! There's no way this is what it is
3/5

The product is not worth the price! I definitely did not get what is shown in the picture, and it was of much cheaper construction than what I purchased from another Amazon seller. The product I received was not the same as the one I thought I was getting. My pictures can be seen here A photo of the original Honda one (4 prongs instead of 3). They were much beefier and lasted for more than a decade. What is in the middle of the picture was what I ordered from another seller and exactly what I received was what I just ordered from a Unlike the former type, the prongs of the new type are thinner, less flexible, and protrude less. In the Amazon image, the head shape does not even match what is in real life. The status quo is not good!.

This part was installed in the wheel well of my 06 Honda Civic Si Coupe
4/5

These are similar to the apron pins under the front bumper, but they are not the same thing. Because of the product description not stating that they are also for Hondas, I have to give these four stars. My 2006 Honda Civic Si coupe got some damage when I pulled out some of the push pins for the apron while I was doing work around the wheel wells. I was able to confirm with a significant amount of research that these pins were suited for that part of the apron on my SI. discovered that the pins they are using just are not the right size for your apron, which sits underneath your engine and connects to your I am not certain which of those are those, but they are not those. I hope that clears things up!.

The Honda Fit air intake is a replacement part that reattaches the hood to the motor
5/5

I used this part and it worked perfectly to replace the snaps attached to the underside of the hood to hold the air duct in place. These accessories should be able to be used for other things that might come loose in the future. We cannot comment on how easy removing it will be. As old ones removed themselves, so did the new ones.

This was used for a hood vent on a 2012 Honda Fit
5/5

I was able to attach the vent to the hood of my 2012 Honda Fit. It worked as intended, as the replacement clips were sheared off by the factory. There are plenty of spares so I will have plenty of options to choose from in case these ones fail. It would be awesome if I ever got a car from Acura.
