I was thinking the same thing as well. What kind of shape could have three (3) dimensions listed if it is a spheroid? The size of the base should be only its length and its diameter. Does anyone here?
As a result of ordering this item, one bump stop was provided. It was my expectation that there would be Additionally, the nut did not come with it.
The old one will come out easily when you hammer out the stud and install the universal poly 9155G from Energy Suspension
I am still unsure whether it is just one or a set of 2, based on questions and answers and the Amazon specification. Could you please tell me which item it is? It would be helpful if Amazon clarified its

I used it on my 99 Silverado and it worked perfectly. It occurred to me to pass along the experience I had. My rear stop bumper could not be removed since it was stuck on the frame due to rust. I had to remove the tire in order to cut the bolt off, so I used a sawzaw with a metal blade to cut between the frame and Through the bolt, the old bumper fell to the ground, where a quick tap on the rusted nut in conjunction with the handpunch freed the loose part of the nut. Next, I removed the old stop*bumper and installed the new one using an open ended wrench of 15mm.
Although these are decently made, they are made from a hard rubber rubber as opposed to the OEM bump stops that are made from soft polyfoam. There is a huge difference in color and material, as these OEMs are tan and these are black and extremely rugged. In terms of shock absorption, the OEM handles bumps better. A new OEM GM bump stop was ordered (the one shown in the photo) as a comparison, and it is far superior. The reason I waited so long to return them is that I was too busy. As well as the generic brand I bought on Amazon, other generic brands I have purchased have a higher durometer. The softer GM bump stops are the only ones made of this material Seeing as how I've seen it, poly foam is extremely absorbent. As far as I can tell, you do get what you pay for in this case, though these are significantly more expensive than the comparable generic parts on this page. Although I had expected better performance by purchasing Dorman, it has not happened. For me, General Motors is the way to go.
The products were shipped fast and worked like a charm as an exact replacement for the ones that came with my 2000 Silverado. The seller is fantastic, and I hope to do business with them again in the future!.
It appears that the product is I found installing them to be very straightforward, the most difficult part was removing the old ones, I soak them in You can reach into the tire area above the tire with a 15mm open end wrench if you jack up the truck body slightly. It is a good product that I would recommend.
I found the installation process to be very straightforward. I would have liked to have had a little bit of clearance around the studs when installing instead of using a standard wrench. The tightening of the bolt requires the use of an open end wrench. Other than that, I liked the product, because it fit well and was easy The Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 Regular Cab is from 2004. An adjustable wrench 15mm in diameter. Before removing old units, spray them with penetrating oil. Both sides of the panel need to be removed and replaced, and it takes about 10-minutes on.
Another question I have is how some of you get two bump stops per order but not others like me who only get one? If this problem needs to be fixed, who should I contact? If you only get one, you do not get enough for your money. There were some positives during the delivery process, such as the packaging was good. Thanks to Amazon, I am able to do that. I have updated The other side of the vehicle now has a similar one as well. My impression is that they are just too expensive. I anticipate this will be the same. The first one has stayed, so I am hopeful this one will as well!.
As described in the listing, the product was delivered exactly as described. Are you the proud owner of a late-model Those of you who use their bed bumpers for reading or hauling may want to check them out. You need to replace your batteries if you have not yet done so. In the event of heavy loads in the bed, these bumpers will prevent the bed from bottoming out on the leaf springs. Unless you have the right medium length sockets, it's a bit of a challenge getting them off without removing the nut holding them onto the frame. Be sure to use lock washers when installing the new bumpers and the torque wrench if you have it.
A replacement for the deteriorating rear bumpers on my 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 after they had been installed for 13 years. It was easy to remove and install, I used a 5/8 socket. We spent about 30 minutes on this.
