Questions & Answers

Is there a chance of the adhesive damaging ?

As the adhesive provided is not for the paint, you would have to use 3M automotive tape and other things provided to seal in the gutter gap

Are the odds of this falling off in a car wash high?

It's a good idea to buy 3M tabs. Though I haven't run mine through the car wash yet, I believe the tags can be found on the

The Bestop Sunrider will these work with it?

It may not be that bad. A factory hardtop serves as the basis for these products.

This is an extremely easy to install product
5/5

I found the rain diverter to be very easy to install on my Jeep OIIIIIO JL

Removal or installation of the roof panels (hard top) remained the same. The windshield frame adheres to the tape with amazing strength. Specifically,

1 Ensure that the area is clean. In Part 2 The rain diverter can be adhered with the adhesive provided by affixing a thin line. In paragraph 3 It should be set in place and secured In addition to spreading out the adhesive, the pressure will also spread out the resin. You should clean up any excess adhesive that may have spread. Item number five It's best to let it sit for a little while to allow it to set properly. I let mine sit overnight to avoid any movement or airflow causing it to move. Here are six You can pray for Rain, do a rain dance, get a hose or a water bottle and provide some water Allow the water to flow to the windshield, not the interior of your Jeep. 7.

• You can do the same as I did by writing a review. This is a great addition that will help solve a problem that has plagued many homeowners for many years, especially when it rains As soon as you open the front door, the water from the roof gets inside the cabin or the passenger area. I don't think it's necessary to paint my diverters since I have a black Jeep OIIIIO. The JEEP OIIIIIO comes in white, black, and dark blue, but you can paint the diverters if you like to give your Jeep a factory-look. It provides a lot of value for the money.

Leaks still occur from the poor design
3/5

These extensions are designed in such a way that water can flow behind the gutter and back into the cab as if it didn't exist. That is to say, they do not seal anything. **Up to now, other listings for this model of rain gutter extension have shown globs of sealant around the area where the hard top meets the extension. I suppose that would work, but you wouldn't be able to take off the hardtop! Overall, a poor design that is not worth the time you spend looking at it.

Despite being quite noisy, they do their job
3/5

My rating has been reduced to 5 stars due to the addition of my previous review. Due to the leaking and noise, I had to take them off. The left side of the left side panel began leaking into the footwell because of the way it was attached post-snow storm over the weekend. Rather than divert water to the floorboard, they diverted it to the windshield. No directions were provided. The straps should be made of 3M adhesive as well. It wouldn't make any noise while they drive, if it was so.

I am very pleased with these extensions because they keep me dry and require little effort

The double-quotes were added by me The adhesive is not your only option, rather use the double-sided tape. In addition, I used sandpaper to shape the edges so they would not catch on the rubber on my doors when I opened or closed My Jeep has a soft top, and I adapted these to fit perfectly after I made those small alterations. When I opened my doors, it had rained two days in a row, and I never got wet. Jeep should definitely include something like this as a factory option. If you want to stop the water from pouring right into your house, I recommend these if you want to stop the trickle.

The Jeep JL Rain Diverter installs on 18 Jeeps
5/5

On the other hand, they were very I put them on one day and within a short period of time, it started raining. I use them all the time, and they work wonderfully. It's no longer a problem getting soaked when I open Those who own a Jeep Wrangler JL should be sure to purchase.

I will not be staying on
3/5

I have purchased two sets of these at $20 each. Initially, the adhesive was applied to the drip rail and the tape was applied to the body. The car wash took my left one away. One side of the jacket couldn't be ordered, so I purchased a second I installed the new left one, using the adhesive to adhere everything, and reinstalled it again based on the review from another user. After installing the right one, I did the same for the left one. Several days later, I lost the left one again after going through the car wash. It took me about 40 minutes and some change to get everything done. Is it any use buying these things if they can't even stand up to a car wash? Consider DIY options and do a web search. I think they make a lot more sense, are a lot less expensive and look like they would last longer. (I now have two extensions on my right side.

It has returned
3/5

While these may resolve the problem, they appeared cheap and unattractive. The adhesive did not work so we decided to try something else rather than to use it to secure these hard plastic pieces. Quite frankly, we did not like the effects that they had on the Jeep's appearance.

A glue stick doesn't stay in place
3/5

Having these made opening and closing the door much more pleasant. They prevented the rain from dripping on to the floor. It was ready to go as soon as they were glued on. These two fell off in less than a week. Sadly, one of them is gone, and the other one fell off parked near my home, so I have it. Despite the fact that it is included, the glue is not reliable. Is it possible that you could have had better results with a different adhesive? In addition, there are no instructions included, so it's just a case of sticking to your gut.
