Questions & Answers
It's a rubberized material with 3m double-sided tape on the top half of one side that fits any vehicle.
This kit is perfect for your Nissan Teana! This kit comes with two EZ Lips, enough to cover only two sides of your vehicle. Two of these kits are required to complete the front, sides, and back.
The EZ Side Skirts can stretch up to 1.25 inches outward. 5 inches. Depending on the look you're going for, you can place them closer to or farther away from your rocker panel/side.

The item is a REPACKAGED 'garage door bottom,' despite the great concept. I paid $13 for the EXACT SAME "lip" at Lowe's. It'll set you back $50 for 16 feet of it. For $5, you can get the SAME double-sided 3M tape. 10 (depending on length; I opted for drilled holes and snap clips instead). less sloppy, much more long-lasting). br>br>In other words, I got MORE of this "lip" for a FRACTION of the price I would have paid at Lowe's. This business is a rip-off; they simply purchase the garage door bottoms for $10-$20. 15, slap some crappy 3M tape on it, and flip it over to sell it to customers for **5** the price! br>br>I'm not opposed to the idea of repackaging it with minor changes so that it can now be used in automobiles. It's the fact that they have the AUDACITY to resell it for a huge profit when the exact same material they repackage is readily available to anyone who opens their eyes and walks into any home improvement store.
I recently bought two new cars and wanted to get a better look at the front, back, and sides of them. After looking into everything from lip spoilers to side skirts, I decided to order EZ Zip. Drilling holes in the vehicle was the biggest downer. For a variety of reasons, including rust, I decided to give EZ Zip a try by purchasing only the lip spoiler kit at first. You will have no issues if you follow the directions and clean the area you are sticking this too. I used 90% rubbing alcohol and wiped down completely and then again to just make% I installed the molding in 2 foot increments, heating each 2ft length with a hair dryer before attaching and holding for a few minutes before continuing. I've never had a problem with it loosening or falling off when I've used this method. If you take your time and do it right, your car will last much longer than the average person's. This was a problem on two of my previous vehicles. It's the same with the side skirts. You must first clean thoroughly, then apply the alcohol, repeating as necessary. Apply the same method as above with a hair dryer, and it will last for a long time; I also did this on the backside of my trunk. When finished, it looks just as good as, if not better than, fiberglass skirts and costs a fraction of the price. Oh, and the hair dryer was used to install when the temperature outside was 83 degrees, because it adheres better to metal and fiberglass for a solid bond. I strongly suggest it.
I purchased it, was skeptical of the adhesive, purchased adhesive glue to use, and then decided to try the adhesive that came with it, which surprisingly adheres quite well. So, let's see how long it lasts. It appears to be pretty good in appearance; I wish it were a little harder, but I suppose it works because you can't tell how soft it is until you touch it. I like how it looks in general. I wish it were longer, but I'll have to go out and buy another set for the sides.
I installed these at a local body shop. They left it in a heated paint booth overnight to ensure that everything was properly adhered. The 3M adhesive primer recommended by the manufacturer is also used. br>br>Their wheel well flare product is also shown in the video.
I initially purchased the professional version, but it was far too large for my vehicle. Plus, when I held it against the car, it just didn't look right. So I returned it and ordered the regular one for the sides of the car, and I must say that a picture is worth a thousand words. I'm a little concerned about the adhesions on it; I'm not sure how well it'll hold up, despite the fact that the videos show the whole thing holding up very well. So we'll see what happens there, and maybe if I remember to post an update, I'll be able to say more about the hold, but so far it appears to be quite good, and I would strongly recommend it.
It's far too thin to be a side skirt; it might stand out on a Prius, but it's barely visible on any muscle car, and the double stick tape doesn't stick, so be prepared to use self-tapping screws. It's also the old-fashioned way of doing things with non-alcoholic beverages. Get the 2 if you want a long-lasting material that rips easily. If you want quality, go with the 5" pro version, but you'll still need self-tapping screws to keep it in place.
What the other reviews say doesn't matter to me. For the past three years, I've kept mine in my vehicle. No joke. It hasn't even begun to loosen up in any way. By the way, surface preparation is crucial. If you don't rush your application, your lip will have a lot of life.
It fell off in the middle of the road while I was driving.
