Inquire with the manufacturer.
Your JL is not the same as a JK. I wouldn't buy anything made for a JK unless I got confirmation from the manufacturer that it would fit. best of luck!
Yes. Without a doubt. It's the same thing.
Yes, for the year 2008, the tops are different. With the newer Jeeps, the windows have been made larger. Check DEI's website to see if they are still available for 2008. They do, I'm sure.

Installing the system should not be rushed. Both the designer engineer ring 050138 boom Matt sound deadening headliner for two door Jeep Wrangler and the designer engineer ring 050152 boom Matt sound deadening side window trim kit for two door Jeep Wrangler were purchased by me. It's impossible for me to express my admiration for them enough. They're incredible! They are sound deadening rather than soundproofing. They, on the other hand, absorb sound. They don't close the door to the jeep, so sound gets in. Because the music is now more acoustically correct and not bouncing around the cab, it actually sounds better. It was a little tricky to install properly, but nothing that anyone shouldn't be able to do if they take their time; don't rush it; you don't want to do that. The difference in sound quality between you and me is incredible. I don't want to ruin one of these pieces because they're quite pricey, but they're of excellent quality and I can't recommend them highly enough.
over. Unlike the roof pieces, these were more difficult to install and tended to stretch out of the area they were supposed to fit into while doing so. They ended up being scrunched up when they were applied. In any case, I'm not sure how useful these tiny bits are. If I could do it all over again, I would only do the roof pieces.
rules and regulations There isn't much else I could ask for. I've had these for about 8 months, through a hot summer and now into the relatively cold winter months, and I'm very happy with them. The road noise is significantly reduced, and the temperature in the Jeep is easier to control, thanks to these and the ceiling panels installed. Backseat passengers are less likely to complain about being too hot or cold, or being unable to hear conversations. The entire set, including the window surrounds and ceiling panels, is highly recommended.
I've tried others, but Boom Mat is the best! You get what you pay for with Boom Mat! It comes highly recommended!.
It made a huge difference when I added these to the mix!.
Because the product is so thin, it stretches easily and wrinkles during installation. The headliners round out the look.
I feel cheated and will return these as soon as possible because they are exactly half an inch thick, not one and a half as the description claims. The foam has the appearance of low-cost packaging material found in a dumpster.
These units function, but because they lack a rigid back, they are floppy and prone to bunching during installation. Because of the flex, it's difficult to keep the edges straight. It would be better if he was as rigid as Hothead. However, the foam is good, and as I previously stated, they work.
