In the rotoflex pin box there are bars across the front and back. Bolts are inserted with washers and nuts to complete the assembly. Nuts are then tightened. There is a bar between the pin box and the rotating bar.
My dealer installed the lockout bars. I will contact Anderson to find out how much torque to use.
The one-dollar bill Thickness of a quarter inch.
According to my understanding, there is only one size. The metal bars sit between the rubber and metal surfaces on the front and back of the hitch. In case long bolts are necessary, you can always buy them as replacements.

I was given a Lippert Rota Flex pin box with my 5th wheel. In order to install and remove the hitch quickly (I love the Andersen system), I chose the Ultimate hitch by Andersen. It is recommended that lockout bars be installed, though they are not required, so I did not get them installed. I noticed a horrible chucking sound during my drive without them and the Rota-like noise when changing wheels Already, Flex had been twisting in a very visible way. If you get the Andersen Ultimate Hitch at the same time, you ought to buy and install the lockouts as well.
Bolts are used to hold the bars in place. They come in two different sizes. In the newer models of 5th Wheels, the bolts need to be longer. As it turns out, the item with the short bolts needed to be fitted to our 5th Wheel. My local hardware store had some longer bolts that I bought, and they are working fine. If you need short or long bolts, be sure to determine if you need those before you buy.
There are too few bolts included with this item. I had to go out and buy longer bolts after spending about $5. In addition to emailing the seller, I called Anderson and left a message. A response has not been received. It may be worth taking a picture and posting.
There are two sizes available here, so make sure you select the right one. Due to my ignorance, I ordered the shorter bars for a Rotoflex pin box that has a really wide base. Since I was at the dealer to pick up our fifth wheel there was no time to wait for new bars and I had to weld the smaller ones in. Although everything works the same, if I ever want to return I have to grind the screws back into place.
My contact with Anderson several times was necessary for me to figure out the proper installation of Eventually, after 3 weeks of waiting, I got a solid answer, though it was not the one I wanted as they stated, based on my pictures, that I would have to cut the pad from the broken There is no way this will I finally threatened my dealer and Anderson with a return of everything after telling them that I would take it back. I got what I needed in terms of video and photos.
This is a replacement part for the RotoFlex pin box I have. A Curt A20 hitch is attached to my RotoFlex and I was told that it works against the Curt. There are about 1/2" of extra length needed for the bolts. One side was easy to start, but the opposite side wasn't even coming close to getting the nut on the bolt going. I had to use several C-hooks to get the nut started. In order to start the nuts, squeeze the bars close enough to allow the clamps to work.
It is even more amazing that Anderson doesn't include this as a I agree that it is essential for safety, and since I have purchased it and used it, I can vouch for that, so it should be included in the price of the.
I was very pleased with the speed of the seller's I would have preferred longer bolts with the bars, but they fit well. However, I had to compress some bars to fit the washer and nut, but other than that, the installation was fine. (5th wheel, 1/2 ton - Keystone Cougar).
