If you plan to paint the lip, winglet portion isn't as smooth as the rest of it, but it shouldn't matter too much if you paint the lip. I mounted this on the front bumper of my 2006 legacy gt usdm. I love how it turned out! The following tips should help you mount your product So my new lip won't form raised bumps as the plastic will not form high spots) I ended up using all the screws included and For the LGT, 2 front areas will need to be heated with a heat gun and then reshaped with a heat gun. (heat and then take a decent rag folded multiple times to protect yourself from getting burned and press down on it (technically up since you'll be under the car doing these two spots) until it cools and takes.

It's a mess, a floppy This is a curved, warped, and unfinished shape

To make this awful piece of plastic acceptable it's going to take an awful lot of work to sand and finish it. The hardware mounting process is a total waste of time. I might have to use filler just to make it look straight, as two spots on it are warped that shouldn't be.

If you want to do the job correctly, you'll need a heat gun and quality nuts and bolts, since the self-tapping screws they send rusted inside of a week after The purchase was definitely worth it.

I've been accidently scraping on curbs due to my low car went over a mattress and the lip never came off, probably because I didn't use the provided screws

Buy your own nuts, bolts, and washers instead if you want it to stay connected.

There will obviously be new mounting holes that need to be drilled for an 02 at this point. It looks great, and I even mounted it evenly after I put my own nuts, bolts, and washers on. The product is slightly twisted in the box, but it comes back to its original shape after spending some time in the sun.

The lip of the box was all bent and out of shape when I opened it

I think it must have been compressed for quite awhile and now is stuck that way. The car looks to be too big to fit the product.
