Will it fit my non-speed mazda despite the fact that it says mazdaspeed?

The Mazda 3 and Mazdaspeed3 are both powered by the same 2. It should work because it is a 3L engine. Before you buy, double-check the part number on Gates' website.

Is this the best belt for a Mazdaspeed 3 from 2009?

No, it's far too large.

Is this a drive belt, or something else entirely?

The alternator, air conditioner compressor, and power steering pump are all driven by this serpentine belt. It worked great on my 1997 Ford Taurus sho, which had underdrive pulleys.

I don't want to give this a star rating, but I have to choose something to review. br>br>I'm only "reviewing" because the data is inaccurate. This K060910 will not fit a 2006 Mazda 6, Mazdaspeed w/ 2, or a Mazdaspeed w/ 2. 3L. br>The K060911A is required for the Speed6. br>br>It will also NOT fit the non-K060911A. turbo 2. K060886 is required instead for the 3L Mazda 6. br>br>Gate's lists this K060910 as fitting a Mazda 3, Mazdaspeed, but it's listed as an option rather than an exact O. fit. Hopefully, this will save someone some time. br>br> I didn't enjoy spending an hour trying to get that extra 1/8" to slip it on.

The belt is thick and durable, and it fits my 1988 Ford F-150 perfectly
