Yes, I have access to my 2003 matrix, and this one is correct.
This is a Mexican product.
Before placing my order, I double-checked the part number on Gates' website. This belt was the correct fit for my 2005 Toyota Matrix and it was easy to install.
I've never heard of this item being referred to as a kit, but it could be all of the vehicle's belts if there are multiple. I hope this clarifies what a timing belt kit is: it consists of the timing belt as well as all associated parts that are typically replaced at the same time.

At 83,000 miles, all of the OEM parts cracked. This is for a 2007 Toyota Corolla CE with A/C, and it fits perfectly. br>Upon inspection, the belt appears to be in good condition; however, after removing the belt, I discovered that it has a number of cracks that I had not noticed while it was in the car. Gates recommends inspecting at 60,000 miles and replacing at 90,000 miles on the package. Mexico is where the belt is made. I've never had a problem with a Gates belt, radiator hoses, or water pump.
This belt fits perfectly in my 2004 Toyota Corolla with air conditioning. After a few days of operation, it was quiet and there were no problems.
The OEM belts in Toyota Corollas aren't up to snuff. It's one of the few times I'd suggest using an aftermarket part instead of the original. This belt fit perfectly, and I've used them before; they last longer and are less expensive.
It works. I'm not sure what else to say except that the car is running fine.
I purchased an exact replacement for the one that was already installed on the vehicle. The belt is of excellent quality for the price; it lasts a long time and has never broken, even when worn out and cracked.
Gates is known for its high-quality products.
On the belt/box, there was a part number. The incorrect belt was sent, which was discovered right in the middle of the job. Because I needed a new one right away, I had to do it outside with a flask light. The special tool worked well with the new pulley that was ordered. Despite the fact that the belt/box had a part number, the incorrect one was sent.
