For the 2013 Rzr 800S, this is a must-have replacement. A friend's belt (on a 2012 Rzr 800S) had broken and he needed a replacement right away. To help him get back on the trails, I gave him my spare belt. He gave me enough money to replace this belt, which was perfect for the Rzr. They're built to last. Don't squander $150 on a dealer's belts. 00 a pop. That is completely absurd. These aren't made by the manufacturers. They contract it out to companies like Gates, who then increase the price by a factor of three. br>br>In every Rzr I own, I keep a spare belt. Simply because these items deteriorate over time as a result of use and abuse. And if they do break, you're out of luck. Don't be caught without a replacement on the trails. These are extremely inexpensive and perform admirably.
On a 2009 Ranger crew 700 EFI, I'm wearing this belt. It appears to last three to four years, which I am willing to accept. When installing the belt from the side, make sure you can read the lettering; if the letters are facing inward (towards the engine), you've done it wrong.
According to the machine's manual, this belt was properly broken in. All parts of the installation, including the alignment and clutch resurfacing, were thoroughly examined. Unfortunately, the belt only lasted two rides totaling about 50 miles after the break-in period. I'd like to give the 24c4022 belt a try to see if it performs better than the G belt, as I'm not happy with it. Before I tried this one again, I'd try the C belt, Hunterworks, or OEM.
I took it to the Hot Springs ORV park, where I encountered some steep inclines and numerous large rocks. The belt outperformed the original when it was brand new. My old belt had 120 hours on it and was on the verge of breaking down!.
I've had it for a few weeks and have had no problems with it. When compared to Polaris-branded belts, this is an excellent deal. It appears to be nearly as good as, if not better than, the Polaris brand, and I would recommend it.
After 11 years, I decided to replace the original belt, and this one fit perfectly and functions well. It's impossible to say how long it'll last, but it appears to be well constructed.
Squealing?! After replacing the OEM unit on my Polaris RZR, this belt squealed like a demon. I cleaned both the belt and clutch surfaces according to the manufacturer's instructions, but the unit still squeaked when in gear and not moving.
It wasn't a bad job replacing it; after 11 years of service, it was past time. This was purchased as a replacement belt for the previous one.
