The one that came with only three out of the four screw tabs that are supposed to be there was defective. This is a manufacturing issue rather than a missing part issue. Tabs are tack welded in place, so this isn't a part It is amazing that the other retaining ring has all four screw tabs, yet they are not in the right place! These are either second-grade products made in Taiwan during an off day or were made during a second run. They have been junk thus far, regardless of the circumstances. My replacements have been ordered, so I hope they will at least work. Unless the replacement parts are made well, I will order OEM, as I probably should have done from the beginning.
I will update once I have my replacement parts.
It was basically as if the left eye of my Jeep Wrangler was hanging out of After one too many sets of washboards on mountain roads, the stock retaining ring had completely detached from the stable. There were no old brackets left except one damaged by vibrating and the broken one had come loose. I was very happy with the Omix and it was an excellent price. One In light of the lack of screws they don't come with, you might want to make sure you have all four ahead of time. Once I received the retaining ring, I found there were two screws missing. I ordered them separately. Both screws in the bezel and the screws in the knob are the same.
But, there is one problem to note, and this is that the tabs don't have an oval through which the screw head goes. The slot is just a placeholder. As a result, I'm going into battle trying to hold the headlight in place at the same time hoping the torx driver doesn't fall off. There is no such thing as an easy road, even if it costs money. I wish you good.
I recommend it. I am his father - Due to a broken screw tab, the original retaining ring on the vehicle's headlight was loose. I had no problems installing the replacement and it fitted perfectly. The interface looks and feels almost identical to the It is recommended.
The tabs on my old one have broken off. The 2005 model is available. I would like to replace this exact item. Almost as if it were This is excellent. I recommend it.
The quality is as good as or better than OEM.
The exact same ring that came with the OEM headlight. There seems to be a bigger improvement in the quality of the welding on the mounting tabs.
