The 2008 Colorado is compatible with this part

I was able to use it on my 2008 Chevy. I used to be able to start my Colorado with a rattle. The sound would be heard for about 15 seconds after that. The problem was solved in this way. My hope is that this will last 100,000 like the original tensioner, but if I have to come back and update this review if it fails soon,.

Just installed it about an hour ago and it seems like a sturdy, good product

There is no doubt that the belt and tensioner on the Colorado is not the easiest to deal with. I don't know why that room is so cramped. Nonetheless, it has nothing to do with this particular part.

The Gates tensioner seemed to be every bit as heavy and sturdy as the one I removed. Yes, it isn't made of plastic, at least it wasn't the one I got. It was definitely made out of In the meantime, I'll let you know if anything noteworthy happens, but my initial impressions have been positive.

A chirping problem was causing me to have a problem with Gates, but I first just put the new belt on and it did not help. It's recommended you change your tensioner as well as the belt. Since I got this Gates product, I no longer have to chirp. In Gates' theory, the springs will rust inside the tensioner, which is not something you can see easily. Eventually, I imagine that the tension applied goes down as the tensioner becomes more and more old.

In this case, I did not need a tensioner or pulley. I just needed a belt, so I followed the recommendations and bought a package with the belt, tensioner, and pulley. I would say that. You can also get other stuff if they offer it. You just have to My water pump died and I had to buy a new one. It eventually turns out that I had to replace a water pump and a fan clutch, and clean the yeah, everything can be done while the machine is idle. That's enough of me. I am very pleased with the tensioner.

I received a lot of vibrations when I put the bracelet on. You will find it is best to change everything at the same time. The tensioner, belt, and idler pulley if required. The idler pulley that I ordered was the wrong one. If you need a washer with an idle pulley, you need to get one.

We have an inline six-cylinder 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer and this fits perfectly This model has an Atlas four-cylinder engine that runs great. An exact match for the factory original tensioner, this tensioner is made in Canada and appears to be of OEM quality. Contains a high quality pulley premounted, but does not include the bolt to attach to the engine. You can use the bolt you have.

Straight out of the box, this product has scratches and dents! As a result of where I was working on Friday, I couldn't be there to sign for it as it would be delivered via UPS and require a signature

Later on today, which is Monday, it was dropped off at a CVS by a customer. I was very upset by that, since this install planned the entire weekend around it. It looks like the tensioner already has a few scratches all over it. The overall experience has been pretty lame so.

I have a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer 4 and this has worked well for me. There are some tricky spots to get into with the 2L LTZ 4wd. My problem has been solved.
