D&D PowerDrive 754-04055 MTD or CUB Cadet Kevlar Replacement Belt

I have updated the post A belt was shredded 33 days after it was purchased. Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase. The lawn on my house has been cut four times, as well as the lawn on my neighbor's. Although the deck is in good shape, the belt seems to be in need of replacement. Oh well, live and learn! My cub dealer is now on the way. A CC XT3 GSX with a 60" deck was used to install the belt. The vegetation yesterday was very tall and thick, and today was very wet and heavy. I mow 2 acres yesterday and another 2 today (and had to take it slow. ) So far the belt has held up well, so I am not sure why other people are complaining. My next update will be in another month or two.

If you have well-aligned pulleys, your belt should last for a long time. I can't speak to the durability of your belt, but think it depends on the way it is treated. It has been going well so far. The belt is the second I've had to purchase the first broke when a stick got lodged in the pulley assembly and friction fatigue set in. Smoke actually began to emit from it. A little over an hour later, it failed.

Well I wish I had something positive to say, but the belt is too large and does not stay in place on clutch drive. It is the right belt, but not as well made as the Gates 6650BR BladeRunner Belt.

The belt is great, and I am extremely pleased with it. The following edits have been made to the previous version I just shredded the belt as I was mowing. No longer am I able to give this a good rating due to a belt failure, or if I can no longer guarantee that the machine will eat belts. I may have used it for up to 12 months The tractor was used for 15 hours then broke down in pieces made of rubber and fiber, and strings of kevlar put around the pulley in the front and ripped out all the wiring from the headlights. The situation is not good at the moment.

Belt separated within a couple hours of usage due to weak material. Fit is good, but material is not robust.

I can use it with my Cub Cadet (GT2550) mower for a good price.
