My Ford Ranger was built in 2003 and has a 2. With a 3L engine and air conditioning. A word of caution: the aftermarket belts sold at auto parts stores are not the correct size, as I discovered when I bought one at O'Reilly's Auto Parts. It measured 83 and a third inches in length. Due to the fact that it was too short, AutoZone is selling two belts. One measures 82 inches, while the other measures 82 inches. 5 inches in length Because it isn't stated, I have no idea how long this belt is. I contacted Ford Parts, who also had no idea. The Ford part number was the only thing they could provide me with. This one was a perfect match for me. So save yourself the time and aggravation by purchasing this one first.

3L with air conditioning My serpentine belt had to be replaced today. It's my first attempt - benefited from the assistance of a neighbor We had some difficulty putting the new belt on because it is quite tight, even with the tensioner fully extended. Here's a hint: double-check that the belt is properly attached to the fan pulley. We decided to put the belt over the top right (power steering pulley) last because it was the easiest to reach, but it wouldn't go on until I noticed that the engine fan pulley's belt wasn't seated correctly. It went over the power steering pulley without a hitch once I got it seated.
