This was purchased to replace a broken belt in my Jeep Liberty. My oil change mechanic informed me that I required a new belt due to cracks in mine, and that I should have it replaced immediately or as soon as possible. He stated that he would do it for $90. WHAT? I wasn't about to pay $70 for labor to replace the belt; it's not that difficult if you have the right tool, and the belt's layout is on the inside of the car's hood! I bought this to replace it, and when I went to replace it, I noticed that the belt he said had cracks in it didn't have any. I wanted to see if he would mention my belt the next time I took my car in for an oil change, which I did months later, but he didn't. So now I keep this belt in my car emergency kit as a backup, and if it ever breaks, I'll have a spare.
This belt is compatible with my son's 2004 Jeep Liberty, according to Amazon, but it was noticeably short, so I decided to replace it along with the water pump. I ended up reinstalling the old one and will visit a local auto parts store for replacement parts. I was extremely disappointed. Because this isn't the first time something like this has happened, Amazon needs to improve their car parts search feature. Be careful who you buy from.
It was exactly what I expected. You should ship to a wider range of locations. I had to send it to my parents, who in turn had to send it to me. It was disappointing.
I made contact with the seller. After a few months, the belt began to crack. I tried contacting the seller but never received a reply. This is the last product I will ever purchase.
Excellent purchase- It's half the price of a car parts store!.
GREAT ! Everything worked out perfectly. It was a big help. I'm glad it was available from you. "Whew ".
