The engine is a 7 (R). 6k960 or 88932794 from AC Delco. This is the CORRECT GM belt for the Chevy 5 from 1997 to 1998. With air conditioning, there are seven Vortec engines. It isn't going to last long. It works well, but it does not last as long as the previous ones. I'd pay more for a better-made belt, but there aren't many to choose from.
