The engine is a 7 (R). 6k960 or 88932794 from AC Delco. This is the CORRECT GM belt for the Chevy 5 from 1997 to 1998. With air conditioning, there are seven Vortec engines. It's a genuine GM belt, so it'll be a lot tighter than aftermarket junk. Just add $4 to your total. 00 to get a replacement from the manufacturer. It isn't going to last long. It works well, but it does not last as long as the previous ones. I'd pay more for a better-made belt, but there aren't many to choose from.
