Questions & Answers

Are these tools compatible with Jeep Grand Cherokees?

The threaded hole might be able to hold it. Power steering pumps can be operated by other tools from OTC. You might find some tool sets at the auto parts store. Tools are available at Autozone to help you with this. A pump pulley remover like the one you would buy from Autozone may be needed if it has a pulley like a Chrysler pump. Each end is double-ended so two sizes can be accommodated. As a result, Chrysler's front ends lack a hole in the center and have grooves in place of them. Try an OEM set number 27031 from Autozone as a replacement. It is my sincere hope that

Are there any thread sizes at the larger end of this screw and what is its overall length?

5/8"-diameter threads are used for the bigger hole Three-quarters of the screw is 18 and three-quarters of the screw is 3 This is 3".

The harmonic balancer from Chrysler 3 will be installed if this is done. Where do I find 8l?

Installing a pulley on a shaft for the power steering pump or something similar requires the use of this tool. In addition, the narrow threaded end of the tool is not large enough to fit onto Make sure the tool you buy is the right one.

The pulley was installed only after I had worked long enough to do so
3/5

In the process, the tool broke at the point where the pulley was almost flush with the surface of the pump shaft. However, it turned out that the pulley was sufficiently seated, so it performed the task, but only barely, and cannot be used again. With the Jeep WJ '01 with four wheels, this is how it looks. The 7L size. In addition to the tightening of the nut/bearing part tending to loosen the part that threads into the pump shaft, using this tool is challenging. There is a possibility that it would work if the nut threads on to a left-handed part This could not have been an issue, since it was a hand thread. As a result of it doing what I needed it to do, I gave it three instead of one or two stars. I will try to come up with a stronger tool next time.

The must have of the season!! You must have this tool to install a power steering pulley when you replace a power steering pump
5/5

I used this on a Plymouth pump and found it very effective. Make sure all threads are greased before using.

I was happy with the results
5/5

I had no difficulties while installing the OTC 7005 pulley installer. I found it to be well built and user-friendly. To avoid resulting in entanglements, it is important to clean the threads thoroughly and grease or oil them before use. On it are metal chips from the manufacturing process. You will get a smoother operation and the battery will last longer if you do Be sure to grease the bearing as well.

This is exactly what I needed to install the final power steering pulley
5/5

It works great. As opposed to the standard one that comes with the kit, this one allows for a deeper set. You know, in case it comes in handy. Having this tool is great.

This part is necessary
5/5

If you order the pulley remover, you should order this one, since the one that came with the set is probably going to break.

With the correct tools, the job will be done right
5/5

This is a great product, but make sure it will work with your particular pump before ordering (some older pumps may not have the inside threads or might have a different thread size, for example) and make sure to follow the basic lubrication guidelines provided by others who have used it.

We installed version 3 of General Motors
5/5

Pull the power steering pulley for 5 power steering wheels easily. We installed version 3 of General Motors. With a little effort, we shifted 5 power steering pulleys.
