On my last build, I never lost a belt when I bought this product for the second time. Worked great and fits great. Rather than driving in bare form, I will get them powder coated this time they didn't seem to like the elements when bare, but it was my fault for driving in the snow.

There is no hardware for 215 casting iron heads that works with the supplied alternator

It's great that these brackets exist. This part has been machining very well, and all edges have been properly deburred. There is only one thing I would have liked was for the supplied hardware to actually work with my head. manufacturer supplies only 3/8 inch bolts for the alternator top. The heads for the iron big block 215 cast iron use 7/16 inches bolts. The number of bolt holes for these accessories is 14. It has been difficult for me to find a 7/16-inch To match the other hardware included in the kit, 14 socket head cap screw bolts are locally fabricated in stainless steel.
