It is my hope that by writing this you will be able to aid someone else. is suitable for the power steering pump on the 2003-2005 model The year 2007 ended on May A snap ring backing plate is attached to a Cummins 9 engine. There are no ZF style pumps that will fit this. An example of a ZF pump is shown in the image below. Therefore, it will fit the pump that does not use the ZF style. The pulley is smaller than the original for this pump, but the diameter is not. A belt on a common rail Cummins has eight ribs. Thus, this is also a pulley that fits a 7 rib belt. This means that if you want to use this pulley safely, you will need to change from an 8 rib/spine belt to a 7 rib belt.
Or you can just cut out a rib from the belt you currently use. Therefore, yes, it is going to Just remove a rib from the belt* * * * ** Don't forget to keep it in mind. Your pump will spin faster than it is designed to and you will wear it faster if you use this part because the diameter of the pulley is smaller. But I was still able to get 60,000 miles from my pump with this pulley over a year and a half. As a result, I have had a great experience with it. It's only one place that sells them

It's the gold pulley that appears at the top of the list. It is my hope that this will help someone!.
We replaced the pulley with the same one we had used in the original, and used a pulley puller to take the old one off and put on the new pulley. It is very well made, and fits very well. There are two pulleys in this set a metal pulley and composite one (hard plastic). It is recommended that you use a pulley puller/installer rather than pounding and prying. It is likely that the composite parts of the pulley will break or crack. The pulley is working perfectly now.
I bought this part on April 18 of last year. Today is Aug 11 of this year. (I replaced this part with my rack and pinion and my belt drive system. Earlier this year, an oil leak was discovered in a power steering pump. Overall, I've had a good experience with Dorman. I noticed the part was very shiny and it didn't seem as heavy-duty as the OEM part, but its performance was just as effective as the OEM part. Today, I was on my way to work and the pulley shook, causing my serpentine belt to be thrown away. As a result, my power steering, alternator, and most importantly my engine fan disappeared. My truck was not working, and I wasn't happy, however, I was only 10 minutes from my house and was able to drive it back to my house. I will replace my current brand with a different one.
Although slightly difficult to install on power steering pump, I was able to do it. The only way to press all the way on was through a lot of muscle (and grunting). Installation tools worked great for me when I ordered them.
Using the pulley puller I rented from Autozone, I was able to install this pulley without any issues. One thing you need to be careful for is not to press it on too hard, as that will cause the edge of the pulley to hit the pump body and prevent it from freely rotating. If the pulley is to fit correctly, you will want to leave about 1/8" clearance between it and the housing.
The product is a great value, and it works well.
There were a few things that needed to be changed in the description of the product, I had to modify the product so it would fit in the pickup.
