Spectre Performance 5954 3/4" Heater Hose Fitting

That GM quick fitting needs to be replaced with this. For 1998 Silverados, 3/4 inch hoses are used rather than 5/8 inch. My intake didn't snap off in the intake, so I was lucky. You will probably have to use the removal tool since it will snap. You can also cut it into pieces with a hacksaw blade and tap it out with a 1/2-14 NPT tap if it doesn't work. This problem extends to the packaging provided by the manufacturer as well. I was just trying to save anyone else's time when Amazon refunded my purchase.

The threads leak around the edges, but it looks cool. My aluminum intake manifold's threads are clean and in good condition, but it still leaked even after I installed Teflon tape, ptfe paste, and tightened it down super tight. My trash bin will be full of it, and a brass one is going in its place.
