For my 1997 Civic EX Sedan, this is the perfect lower radiator hose. After cleaning the hose ports, I used a small amount of water lubricant. A pair of extra long needle nose pliers (Harbor Freight $8 / pair) or a pair of hose clamp pliers can be used to remove the hose clamps. I saw them for around $20 on Amazon. However, the long pliers will suffice for this task. I'm going to buy more. This company has also sold me a timing belt kit, as well as a/c, alternator, and power steering pump belts in the past.
This was a good hose for my Honda Civic EX Coupe from 1998. On the lower portion of the radiator, there is a 6L manual transmission car. When I replaced my radiator, I replaced this hose as well as the upper hose. If you're replacing this hose, I'd recommend replacing all of the heater hoses on the engine's back side as well, so you don't have to replace the coolant twice.
For a 96 Civic, this is a perfect match.
My original equipment manufacturer (Yuasa, perhaps?) ) on my '98 Civic was still soft and serviceable. But this one has taken its place. So far, after a few months of use, there have been no issues.
My 2000 Civic is the perfect size, according to her. The part was delivered quickly and correctly.
The part does exactly what it should, and it's a perfect fit for a Honda Civic from 1998 with a 1. 6 ltr.
It is well-fitting and water-carrying. Is there anything else you could want?.
