03 2003 Toyota Camry V6 3. 03 2003 Toyota Camry V6 0 LE. The old constant tension clamps were reused, and the new hose fit perfectly after being trimmed on one side with a utility knife by about an inch. There's one less thing to be concerned about. I usually try to use Toyota parts, but because Gates hoses are known for their dependability, I went with this top hose and a Gates 22825 bottom radiator hose. When I replaced the radiator with a Denso Radiator Part 221-, I used this hose. 504 br>Recently updated- After the bottom hose came off and nearly overheated my engine, I had to replace two of the four Constant Tension Clamps that connect the upper and lower radiator hoses. Apparently, I didn't attach the clamp over enough of the nipple on the radiator. Fortunately, I took note of the coolant temperature. The gauge was rising, and we were able to avoid disaster. I purchased new Constant Tension Clamps because two of them were in poor condition, most likely due to me removing and replacing them with regular pliers. I spent around $30 on a Clamp Removal Tool to make the job easier, because those clamps, while very durable if not deformed, can be extremely difficult to work with at times. Money well spent because the first time I did this job, I wasted a lot of time, coolant, and bruised my knuckles maneuvering those clamps with regular pliers.
After 230,000 miles, I replaced the radiator in my Toyota Avalon and decided to replace the more difficult-to-reach hoses with new hoses. This hose was precisely the right size and shape for the job. It's a simple swap that should last for another 20 years!.
This item does exactly what it says it will. The issue is that it appears as if there is no reinforcement or that it has deteriorated within the walls themselves. Because the end cuts are sloppy, the hoses will not look as good as OEM hoses.
I'm not sure why the product page says "China" when mine says "Made in USA. " Excellent quality, thick and supple (though this is likely due to the fact that old hose is stiff and cracked due to age and heat). I installed it along with the lower hose a few months ago as a preventative measure because I was replacing a cracked radiator anyway, and it's holding up well with no leaks or other issues.
I had to use another coolant hose and wrap it around this one because the bend wasn't perfect and it was touching the valve cover. Apart from that, the length is correct.
Delivery was very quick. Everything went smoothly. Delivery was very quick.
I always purchase Gates belts and hoses because they are of excellent quality.
It was a great alternative to OEM and was significantly less expensive. It went on without a hitch and was a perfect fit.
