The heater hose assembly includes two of the standard heater hoses, which run from the heater core to the engine block, and two smaller vacuum hoses. An intake manifold is connected to hoses of this type. There is a vacuum hose attached to one of the heater hoses There is a valve that is controlled. The mechanic in me can't help you. It is difficult for me to know what all these parts are called in technical terms. There is a leak in one of the heater hoses on my Ford Ranger truck. Changing just one hose won't fix the problem. I don't know how to do it properly. All parts of the assembly need to be replaced. Calling the local Ford dealer was the first thing I did. A quote of $170 was given to me. Ford part number for the Amazon part is the same as the Taking about an hour to install, this took a lot of time. In any case, I bought a pair of needles that are longer than my normal size (I think 12 or 14 inches). The spring should be accessed with pliers with a long nose It was much easier to use hose clamps of this type. A 90-degree angle was also on the pliers I used The clamps' prongs were bent to a 90-degree angle at the tip, which made it easier to grip the prongs of some of them.
Hoses worked great but I had to reuse my heater hose vacuum bypass. Since the tip of the plastic nozzle was too small, I had to cut it off my existing assembly and now it works great.
Our 2000 Ranger 3 is compatible with these wheels. The motor is powered by none. It is cheaper than a dealer or a local auto parts store.
This is excellent work.
